If you want to take your mobile, run-and-gun creative projects to the next level, Benro’s new X-Series line of gimbals are created for all different types of shooting equipment. These two X Series models are designed for your smartphone capture. First off, these 3-axis gimbals can be easily broken down to fit inside a jacket pocket, which makes carrying these gimbals around almost unnoticeable. The layout of the 3XS and 3XS Lite feature a “barrier-less” smartphone holder so users are able to smoothly transition between horizontal and vertical orientations with the push of a button, or access any of the ports on the smartphone.

The 3XS and 3XS Lite were built to accommodate external microphones without interfering with the gimbal’s movement. And the bottom of the gimbal can be mounted onto a tripod if users choose to go handsfree.

Both gimbals come with a set of customizable buttons so users can program different functions, as needed. Once set up, the buttons can execute cool features such as rotating the phone, Face Tracking, Roll Following, and more. On the handle, users can find buttons assigned to Universal Follow Mode and Locked-Down Mode to be used alongside the directional buttons.

The main difference between the two is the 3XS Lite version does not come with a charging feature. With the 3XS, users can charge their smartphone with a wired connection or wirelessly while the gimbal is powered on.

The Upright mode is ideal for shooting from medium to higher angles, while Carry mode is suitable for low-angle shots.

Like the 3XS and 3XS Lite, the 3XM is collapsable and easily carried. The gimbal can support mirrorless cameras weighing up to 3.9 pounds, has up to 12 hours of battery life, and comes with an ergonomic handle grip for lengthy shooting days. Like the other models, the 3XM can be connected to the Benro Gimbals smartphone app for more precise and complex controls.

And lastly, the 3XD and 3XD Pro gimbals support DSLR cameras. The main difference between the two is the 3XD Pro has a dual handle setup with in-arm cabling, and the 3XD rocks a swivel handle similar to the 3XM. With the swivel handle on the 3XD, users are able to take advantage of Upright and Carry modes (as mentioned above).
