Vintage Roland Juno synthesizers produced quintessential ’80s tunes. Aiming to get that back? You’re in luck. Roland has announced three brand new units, just for you.

The Roland Juno Synthesizer JU-06A combines the sound, look, and features of the JUNO-60 and JUNO-106 into a dependable, modern, and portable instrument.

Second, the Roland MC-101 Groovebox is a more compact four-track version of the MC-707. It delivers massive grooves with a curated selection of ready-to-go patterns, loops, and phrases, which are available for your using.

Rounding out the trifecta release is the Roland MC-707 Groovebox, which is an all-in-one unit that has every feature you need to create a song or live set, all without the need for a computer.

The JUNO is back, better than ever:

The JU-06A combines the JUNO-60 and JUNO-106 into a modern and reliable system you can take with you anywhere. From the 106, it takes the continuous high pass filter, and also includes the envelope-controllable pulse-width-modulation of the 60. The filter behaviors of both are incorporated into the JU-06A, and you can switch directly from the front panel. The classic chorus has also been recreated, with the noise, so you’re getting the vintage feel in a brand new panel.

This unit is compact and comfortable for live shows or studio sessions. It runs on AA batteries and has a built-in speaker. Solidly built with metal panels and smooth sliders with metal shafts, it’s tough enough to withstand serious conditions.

You can also easily control the unit from a master keyboard or DAW, or using a DK-01 Boutique Dock or a K-25m keyboard unit to create an easy-to-travel-with and all-in-one unit.

If you’re looking for the arpeggio on the JUNO-60 or the filter of the 106, have no fear, this synthesizer has them both! Plus, it’s also equipped with chord memory and an on-board sequencer for added value.

With a plethora of options such as USB audio/MIDI and full-sized MIDI jacks, just about any piece of gear can be incorporated. Conveniently, it also features an external clock input to help sync analog instruments or Eurorack systems.

If you’re on the hunt for a vintage synth, the JUNO-06A has the authentic styling we all know and love.

The JUNO-06A will be coming soon for at Adorama.
