Chad Collier – Collier currently serves as the Chief UAS Pilot at Adorama. He boasts a 10+ career in Law Enforcement in the state of Michigan and 1,000+ hours UAS commercial operations. Collier is a Mid-Atlantic Aviation Program Certified Pilot, 1 of 25 nationally designated specialists for confined space drone operations, and was 1 of 6 piled in a case study for nationwide waivers including flight over people and BVLOS. Collier is also a certified instructor for BRINC Drones.
Brandon Karr – Karr is from Pearland, Texas. He started his interest in aviation in 2006 where he earned his Commercial and Certified Flight Instructor licenses for manned fixed wing single-engine, mulit-engine, and instrument ratings. Karr used his aviation knowledge and experience in law enforcement and major incident response to assist over 200 agencies start or develop their programs across the nation. He has developed programs to be integrated into patrol, K9, SWAT, crash reconstruction, and crime scene functions.
Scott Mlakar – Mlakar is an Assistant Chief (Ret) with the Wiloughby (OH) Fire Department where he has served for 37 years. He is a paramedic, hazmat specialist, technical rescue coordinator, fire investigator, FAA Remote Pilot. He serves on the Fire Chief’s Special Operations Committee in Lake County. Mlakar developed and is the Chief in charge of the Lake County Public Safety Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) team, composed of Firefighters and Police officers. It provides UAS support to all of Lake County’s emergency services, special teams, and government agencies.
