Axis' Sharpdome technology with its innovative mechanics and a unique dome geometry provides sharp images in all directions and offer the unique possibility to identify objects as much as 20deg. above the camera horizon making these cameras suitable also for uneven terrain.

Axis Speed Dry function
The Sharpdome technology includes Axis' unique Speed Dry function that will help to provide sharp images in rainy weather. It can also simplify dome cleaning, allowing for more efficient methods such as high pressure cleaning. Reliable PTZ operation AXIS Q6114-E has IP66-rated protection against dust and strong water jets. The camera is designed for reliable, weatherproof installation with built-in protection against dust, rain, snow and sunlight (IP66- and NEMA 4X-rated) and impact resistance (IK 08-rated). Additionally, the camera is further protected with shock detection, a capability that sends an alarm in the event of attempted vandalism.

Intelligent video
AXIS Q6114-E's built-in video analytics include Active Gatekeeper, which enables the camera to automatically move to a preset position when motion is detected in a pre-defined area and track the detected object. The camera also has substantial capacity for third-party intelligent video applications.
