The ATEM SDI Extreme ISO Live Production Switcher, bundled with a 6' HDMI 2.0 Cable, HDMI to HDMI Cable, and a 3.3' USB Type-C Cable, is designed to meet the needs of broadcasters and content creators who demand extreme portability without compromising on quality.
This model is an upgrade from the ATEM SDI Pro ISO, boasting 8 SDI inputs and 4 SDI outputs. It's capable of recording 9 separate H.264 video streams in real time, capturing all 8 clean feed inputs as well as the program video. It also saves a DaVinci Resolve project file, allowing for post-production editing.
The ATEM SDI Extreme ISO is part of the ATEM SDI family, a range of live production switchers that are similar to the ATEM Mini, but with 3G-SDI video connections and double the number of video outputs. This model features 8 SDI inputs, all equipped with standards converters and re-sync capabilities. It also includes DVEs for picture-in-picture effects, enhancing your live production capabilities.
The USB functionality of this switcher acts as a webcam, connecting video to computers with ease. The Pro and Extreme models also feature built-in streaming, making live broadcasts more accessible. For audio, the Fairlight mixer includes a compressor, limiter, and 6-band parametric EQ on each input, ensuring high-quality sound to match your visuals.
The ATEM SDI Extreme ISO is more than just a switcher; it's a self-contained, broadcast-quality system. Its compact design includes both a control panel and connections. The front panel features easy-to-use buttons for selecting sources, video effects, and transitions, while the rear panel houses SDI connections for cameras, extra microphone inputs, USB for webcam, and multiple SDI "aux" outputs for program video.
This switcher allows you to connect up to 8 broadcast cameras, depending on the model, offering different views of the performance.
