these sound great and actually work on my very large head, though it isn't a great fit. its just better than every other brand. if i find something else that fits better in the 90 day trial i will return them, but i have tried a lot lot of headphones and that likely isnt going to happen. my gripes are: 1. please make them fit a larger head better. i have to use aftermarket pads to help soften the pressure. i have a very large head. a good friend of mine has the same issue. i understand other headphones arent better, and these are the best fitting and barely work for me. i cannot wear the sony xm6 or most other headphones. for reference, i can wear an 8 fitted baseball cap kind of snugly. 2. i wish i could turn off the voice narrator when switching between aware and quiet. it interrupts what i am listening to. i know what mode i am in because the noise cancelling/aware modes are fantastic.

I like the multi point connection base I rate a 6 skull crushers have better base sound I give a 8 pretty clean I would say Sonos and apple might be a bit better I don't like that they fit more towards the front then like right in the middle of your head always feel like they're gonna fall. I would say these feel better and sound better when watching a movie definitely a 9/10 but workout solid 7 I do like the immersion and noise cancellation but I do love the military discount what pushed me to get them over other headphones but Bose I salute the audio you're going for but for 400 almost 500 I think it can be a more premium sound

Had the QC ultra headphones for about 2 years and when i saw the gen 2 i thought they could only be better. I was very wrong, the bluetooth connection on these headphones on my pc with the usb link is absolutely terrible, the usb link never had any problems and still doesnt have any problems with the original QC ultra headphones just the gen 2 headphones. the audio stutters and cuts out all the time whenever its connected to the usb link, i could walk to the other side of my room or even turn my head and it makes them start to cut out, they do work perfect on my phone but the app has such a bad eq the audio just sounds trash and jid rather just use the gen 1 headphones. Tried to look online for some solutions but apparently its a really common issue with the gen 2, so now they are just an ornament on a shelf. As great as they sound on my pc just buy the gen 1 version they are practically no different.

I got this product a couple of weeks ago. Look and feel are incredible. Loving the immersive mode and noise cancelling I do a lot of walking running and these are fabulous. Snug fit but not tight. No movement. A+

If you travel often or want the best ANC experience, these headphones are absolutely worth it. Theres one problem below ?? Whenever my car goes over a bump or speed breaker, the sound in the headphones distorts or cuts for a moment. It feels like the vibration from the car affects the audio, which becomes really distracting. For premium headphones at this price, I was expecting a more stable performance.

The new gen 2 QC headphones sound excellent. The bass is tight, the highs are smooth. They are comfortable on your ears and easily block all the noise at the gym. I'm not a fan of the slide volume control. The app has a problem if 2 phones are listed in the devices. The app is the weakest part of the product.

I bought this one month ago and have really enjoyed being able to watch tv without hearing others or disturbing anyone. The different options for spatial sound and the on ear volume control work well. Also, very comfortable

I would say that the headphones have great sound quality! Some NPR podcasts I've listened to almost felt like they were talking into my ear! The Immersion Mode is neat, too! It's almost like you could actually feel the sound coming into your ears. Listening to ASMR videos makes for a very tingly experience! Also sometimes I'd forget I was even in the same room the sound was so good. I would say that going outside for walks while on Immersion Mode, however, is a little discombobulating, at least for me. Some podcasts sounded a bit off on Immersion Mode. I think maybe movies and sports I had a better experience while on Immersion. I thought that the nose cancellation was good, and I think could be better tuning out people/kids shouting (e.g. at a park). I could still hear people while on Quiet Mode. Not that you'd want to completely be unaware of your surroundings, I think the noise filtering could be better in that regard while trying to study, or just need a mental break. I also thought that the switching between devices on Bluetooth was OK, however sometimes while watching shows on my Google TV, the sound would cut out if I got a notification or any sound played on my phone. Then I'd have to exit out of the app to get the sound back. Then I'd have to disconnect my phone from my headphones because that gets annoying fast! I would say all in all they've got some great sound, are comfortable to wear, and they've got some decent noise cancellation, albeit could be a bit better tuning out some noises.

The touch controls do not work on my unit. Otherwise, they're perfect. Noise canceling is second to none. I could also use a bit more base myself but the clarity is exquisite. I'll be returning for a new unit where the touch controls actually work, especially for the price!

I've owned multiple noice-cancelling headphones over the years, including Bose models. These are, hands down, the best I've owned. The noise cancelling is the best Bose has put out to date- the battery lasts as advertised and the fit is perfect. I would buy these again in a heartbeat. Yes, they are expensive, but the juice is worth the squeeze.

I use these headphones primarily while working from home, listening to music, watching TV, and conference calls. Overall, they provide a great experience, and I would recommend them. Pros - Great sound quality, - Phone and conference calls work great and have no problems with people not hearing me. - I love the lift to wake/lay flat to disconnect feature - no more looking for the power switch. - Switching between my phone and computer is very easy with the Bluetooth button. - Immersive mode is great for watching TV/Movies and provides a more natural viewing experience. - The Bose app provides lots of options for fine tuning and modes. - Long lasting battery. - The band size doesn't slip as often as the lower Quiet Comfort models tend to do. Cons - The volume slide is hard to find at first and seems to only adjust the volume slightly, so it takes a few swipes to be precise. I do like the feature though. - The buttons are a little small and could be a bit more tactile. It seems to take a bit longer for me to locate the controls than with previous models. - I'm used to taking one ear off sometimes to listen for a doorbell or something and the auto-pause feature can engage. I've since experimented with Aware mode and seems to serve the purpose better.

I just recently purchased the Quiet Comfort Ultra Headphones (2nd Gen), and I must say I'm very pleased with the quality of sound, and the noise cancelling is so good, that I can hardly believe when I take them off how much sound doesn't penetrate while listenting to anything. Yes they are costly, but not quite as expensive as the higher end models by audio specialists out there in the professional fields of listening hardware. I have yet to actually try all the features, but I am looking forward to the discoveries of what else these headphones possess as listening choices.

While there was a day delay in shipping when I got them I couldn't be happier. Obviously they set the standard for noise canceling but as a owner of Gen 1, and even beats flagship headphones these are the definition of head of the class. I always have cinema mode on because I can't get enough of it. And what other reviews fail to mention is they have a more powerful sound then last Gen. And I can go to sleep with them on in peace with comfort and they are light enough to not give me neck issues. And if you wear glasses fear not. They are perfect for everyone. Definition of perfect headphones ??
