The Bose QuietComfort Ultra Gen 2 headphones truly deliver. From the moment I unboxed them a few weeks ago, I knew they were something special. Setup was a breeze, taking only minutes to connect and get to my calls and music. An extra touch of class: they arrived 80% charged, so there was no waiting around before the first listen. As a remote worker, I've cycled through countless headphones trying to find a pair that can handle hours of calls and block out household noise. These are the winners. They are comfortable enough for all-day use, the audio quality is fantastic, and, most importantly, the microphone delivers clear voice pickup, a rare feat among competitors. The controls are largely user-friendly, with the multi-function button being the only area that required a little practice to master. For everyday listening, I'm constantly impressed by the versatility of the Immersion and Aware modes. I also customized an outdoor mode with the adjustable noise-canceling and wind block features, making it feel like I'm relaxing inside even when I'm out. Battery life has been outstanding, easily outperforming my last pair by a noticeable margin. It's clear Bose has taken a great product and made it exceptional. Again Bose outdid themselves, as usual. This second generation of the QuietConmfort Ultra Headphones are a step up from the previous generation in almost all aspects. It has a sleek design, love the metal hinges and are an absolutely comfortable pair of cans. I've been wearing them for hours at a times and did not felt any fatigue and they are very lightweight compared to some other earphones I own. Now, from the sound perspective, I couldn't be more pleased with how customizable these are, and from the app you can basically tweak every aspect of them to the very minimal details to tailor to your likeness. I recently wore them on a plane and literally had a crying baby in the back seat and the ANC was a bliss. I slept for most of the entire flight and this option, as usual, is a welcome addition to any long flight. I even switched them for another brand with my wife and these felt more comfortable to use and the ANC felt more to my likeness, not too heave but smooth enough to isolate plane and voice noise as well.

Beautiful finish and very comfortable to wear. I've worn them for several hours at a time primarily streaming music and movies. The audio clarity is outstanding and when streaming music I've become a big fan of the immersive audio experience, (it's close to being there). Quiet mode is awesome in eliminating distractions. Controls are all conveniently located on the right hand side and the volume strip is easy to use, as simple as swiping up or down. Two neat features I'm particularly impressed with are 1. automatic audio pause when you lift the right ear cup and 2. the fact that they automatically go to sleep when removed from the head (no more dead battery). After using these headphones for about a month I have no hesitation in recommending them to others.

I have owned Bose headphones since the original pair that was ever released.  Fast forward to about 5 pairs later, these headphones took me by surprise.  This was very close in experience to unboxing and using the original iPhone.  An absolute game changer. Things I like: 1.  Greatly improved mechanical design.  Seems much more sturdy than other models, as you can definitely see the metal components. 2.  Much more premium feel.  I do not feel like the cushions will disintegrate anytime soon. 3.  Auto power-off!  This is a big feature with as seamless UI as possible - put them on, they turn on.. take them off, they shut off to save power.  Absolutely brilliant and something that I have wanted for a while.  I typically come back to discharged headphones after forgetting to turn off the switch. 4.  Single button control, volume slider.. definitely very intuitive, versus having a multitude of buttons all over the place. 5.  No problems charging with high-wattage adapters, as sometimes the older versions did not "recognize" my charger. 6.  Immersive audio - definitely something that I did not expect.  The experience was similar to listening to a pair of liquid-cooled speakers in the early 2000s.. this absolutely blew me away.  It would be great to use these headphones with a VR setup. 7. You can finally charge and listen at the same time! This was a big thing missing from virtually all QC models and I'm glad to see that Bose has finally implemented it. Especially on long flights, this feature is a lifesaver! Overall, I definitely feel that this is the absolute best pair of Bose headphones that I have ever owned and I'm happy that Bose had made all these changes.

I ordered these on the 10th of September and eventually gave up and asked for a refund on the 17th of October. I never received the headphones. UPS "lost" the first pair, and then the 2nd got held in a forever loop of not being sent out. I was then offered nothing more than money off my next order, as if I would trust to order from you directly again. Avoid at all costs and do not order through bose!

Bought a week ago, the ANC is pretty good, great soundstage and overall great product, watching movies with this is so immersive it feels like I'm in the cinema! Speaking of, the immersion mode adds to the already great soundstage the headphones already give so it adds more flavour and personality to every music I listen to. Also I accidentally dropped it off my head onto a hard surface and there were no dents or dings on the headphones - not even a scratch! It's a solid pair of headphones. The comfort of the headphones is completely unmatched, I mean it's in the name! I sometimes sleep with them on and yes, on the lower volumes. Don't sleep with them on if your music is too loud! There are a few problems however, the left hinge creaks but I don't hear when I wear it so it's not that big of a deal. The buttons are also a little finicky, pretty hard to triple press to play the previous song, and the volume slider sometimes adds too much volume or not enough. Either way it's still a pretty great product, 5 stars.

I had to buy a second pair because I lost my first pair and didn't have my ref number to get a replacement but other than that these are the best headphones. The comfort of them followed by the quality of how good you can clearly hear everything song, every instrument that's used and just things you wouldn't usually hear. I compare the bass of them to the kind of bass you gat at music festivals. Highly Recommend.

I love my new headphones phones, very easy to use and it works great blocking out outside noise. The only issue is that the head band even though padded becomes uncomfortable and I have to adjust it every few minutes to keep it from digging into my head.

Received headphones two weeks ago and already love them. The noise cancellation is the perfect balance of sound comfort and quiet. The cushioned ear pads and the padding headband makes the headphones incredibly comfortable. It's lightweight design allows you to wear them for hours. The only complaint is the volume control in the headphones, kind of tricky but if you use the Bose application become more friendly.

I have several Bose headphones. With each and every updated headphones I have gotten they get better and better. The sound on the QCU2 is superior to most of my previous headphones. I was really amazed at the sound quality on the first call I used them on. It was with family and we didn't have any issues with our call. I usually call with my Bose SoundSport but if you brush the mic it can be disrupting to the conversation. I plan on using these on all my calls. I love to immerse myself in music while doing tasks. The battery life is excellant. I can listen for a few days before needing to recharge.

These headphones have been amazing. The upgrades with calls on the second gen really separates the QC Ulra from the rest of the market. Call quality is crystal clear virtually everywhere with no background noise at all.

I would give these headphones a 5 star but I'm just surprised that they don't have the Bluetooth codec LDAC for the Samsung s25 ultra with a price range $450. When Soundcore Space One Pros is only $150 and can play Bluetooth codecs like LDAC @24/32 bit-96 kHz. DO BETTER BOSE

I purchased this unit to use on any flight in order to remove the external noise. i do have to say that after my very first flight, i am HOOKED!!! I was able to listen to my movie, music, videos with clarity and did not hear any other, unwanted noise. The comfortability of these were incredible. After researching several units. I am completely satisfied with my purchase.

I've had the 2nd gen almost a month now and really enjoy them. I purchased the 1st gen a little over a year ago and that's what I'll be comparing the 2nd gen to. Overall it's a great product. The sound is rich and with the app it's able to be customized to the owner's preference. Excellent noise cancellation and the immersion option seems to make the quality of music even better. Compared to the 1st gen the aware mode has improved noticeably to the point you don't realize it's in aware mode until someone starts talking to you. 1st gen had a slight echo sound of the ambient noise in aware mode. The sound and noise cancellation has also slightly improved. In the 1st gen I preferred music in the quiet mode but in the 2nd I prefer it in immersion. I recently wore them on a plane to watch a movie on my iPad and thought the noise cancellation was very good. I would prefer the foam ear cups to be a little thicker and have a bit more "squeeze" to them. I feel this would improve the noise cancellation. Head movements sometimes alter the seal around your ear and require readjusting. While watching the movie I noticed the audio was a bit off from the picture. I'm not sure if this was an iPad issue or app issue, which brings me to my second complaint. You must have the app. I just sat down on the plane and started my movie never previously connecting the 2nd gen to my iPad and when I tried it said I must have the app. Luckily I got the app downloaded just before takeoff. While the app is a nice feature I don't think it should be mandatory. Calls sound just fine and people on the other end could not hear any difference between just using phone or using the gen 2's. The controls on the headphones are easy to use and convenient when you can't access your device. Pictures I've posted show the difference between the 1st gen and 2nd (in black). Visually there are none and they feel the same as well. I also show the difference between a full extension and no extension of the ear cups. I consider myself to have larger than "normal" ears, and they fit without issue. I definitely recommend these headphones and with only a slight price difference, recommend them over the 1st gen. Especially if aware mode is what you prefer.

I received the Bose QuietComfort Ultra 2nd gen headphones about 4 weeks ago. They are the most advanced headphones in terms of technology I have ever used. Despite being complex technology wise they are super simple to use and provide a really enjoyable user process. I am going to break this review into two sections. The look and the sound. Let's start with the look. I was not a fan at first of the white and silver as I find it to be quite flashy but that didn't mean I didn't think they looked awesome. Also the more I wore them the more I realized how cool and subtle they. The silver arms holding the actual headphones are brilliant. They feel rock steady and solid. I worried at first that through constant turning and picking up it would make them a bit loose but that never has and I don't expect it to be a problem. They are also super comfortable. I wear headphone for a few hours at a time and take them off occasionally. I could wear them nonstop and stay comfortable. They do tend to get hot around the ears and I sometimes would find a little sweat on the headphones. The sound. Wow! These are the best sounding headphones I have ever used. I love the ability to choose who to use them with the different modes. I mainly use the quiet and aware modes and they are solid. The Spatial Audio feature is cool but I didnt really find it useful. The app is also a great way to customise your listening experience. I love these headphones.

I wear these when I'm on the phone or working from home and they are GREAT. I can wear them for hours with my glasses on. I barely feel them on and they don't squish my ears too tight like other headphones do when I wear my glasses. The cord they come with will come in handy when I go on my flight in a few weeks so I can watch movies on board.
