I've owned multiple noice-cancelling headphones over the years, including Bose models. These are, hands down, the best I've owned. The noise cancelling is the best Bose has put out to date- the battery lasts as advertised and the fit is perfect. I would buy these again in a heartbeat. Yes, they are expensive, but the juice is worth the squeeze.

I received the Headphones as a Birthday gift. Absolutely beautiful. Took a minute to see how to operate the controls. My last set was a little easier to operate, however, I can handle my new set fine now.

I got the QCU2 about month ago. I use these all the time when listening to music my cell rang and I switched to the call - the sound quality on the call was amazing. The sound for music was amazing as well but I was unsure how the call sound quality would be but it was amazing too. The touch control for volume is a little awkward to use it seems not to be responding and then the volume kicks in and my ears get blasted (user error maybe). But that is the only issue I have had. The noise cancelling function is good - I appreciate being able to control how much of my external environment to let in or not let any in.

I bought QuietComfort Ultra Headphones (2nd Gen) two months ago. I could not be more pleased with my purchase. The headphones are so comfortable, I especially like the mode choices. They were a little pricey, but worth every penny.

Bought them this month and have experienced all aspects of the headphones to maximize on my preferences for music, podcasts, audio books, online meetings with adjustable noise cancellation etc. I'm hearing music really in depth. A software update to manipulate more the EQ features would be a great addition.

I ordered these a month ago. While the headphones are great, the communication, customer service and delivery process were terrible. I was provided a shipping date and delivery date that wasn't honored. When I contacted customer service to inquire about an update, they were rude and unhelpful. The agent basically chastised me and told me to be patient because it was a new product launch. I was then told they would ship at the end of the month. That was going to be fine as I was out of town for a week. Welp, they shipped and delivered while I was gone. Despite arranging with UPS to hold the delivery, they dumped in my front of my house on day 1 of my trip.

These have the best noise cancelling I've ever heard from a pair of Bose headphones. A friend was right in front of me in my home talking to me and I couldn't hear her at all. She didn't like that, but it did help me stay on task with my work! An apology was later made :) Of course, they perform excellent as always on humming sounds like HVACs or airplanes. I use these daily for professional Zoom calls and listening to music. I buy nearly every generation of flagship Bose headphones, though I missed the 1st gen Ultra QC and I am coming to these from the Bose 700s, my all-time favorites. I enjoy how much less heavy these are than the than the 700s, though I do find the cushions somewhat less comfortable on my head. On the downside, I was hoping for more noticeable improvements from the 700s. To my ears, they don't sound much different. This means they are still great headphones, but I'm not sure how much of a step-forward these really are from my covid era cans. I would appreciate having a way to control the EQ from my desktop computer rather than having to rely on the phone app. It would also help to be able to digitally add reverb to the voices of whoever I'm talking to so I could hear them better.

I ordered mine when the preorders first became available. Since my pair first arrived in the mail, I could not have been more pleased with them. Very easy to set-up and sync to my devices. Very easy to turn on and use. Plus, the audio is beyond superb. The drums (especially the snare) and in particular the bass, are especially fabulous. Was quite nervous about spending this much money (plus the one year warranty). But it has definitely been worth it. Would recommend these to anyone with the resources needed to purchase.

Updated software & firmware to pair with new Ultra Gen 2, with button functionality improvements. Much more comfortable to wear on larger head than all prior iterations. This generation is great. Feels sound is a bit improved also. This generation you can take calls & the wind issues on prior iterations is also gone. Phone calls are PERFECTLY clear even with some wind.

Okay, Bose, you've done it again. As a proud owner of my THIRD pair of Bose noise-cancelling headphones. I can confidently say the QuietComfort Ultra 2nd Gen is the best one yet. I don't like anything on my head and wearing these headphones felt like almost nothing on my head. I've worn them to the gym and often forget to take them off. Noise cancellation: The ANC is simply phenomenal. It erases the low rumble of fishing boat engines, the leaf blower noise, and of course, chatter at the airport. The "Aware Mode" is also brilliant, letting in ambient sound naturally when you need to be conscious of your surroundings. Sound & Call Quality: Let me be clear-SUPERB. My music is rich, full of bass and rhythm. My new headphones give me that complete sound immersion. My one criticism: I am a very active person and should not have gotten the white headphones, although they look absolutely slick (for me) only about a week. They're a little high-maintenance, for a guy who is at the gym 5-6 days/week, working in the yard almost daily, traveling or fishing as often as time permits. Maybe go for a darker color unless you, unlike me, have a less active lifestyle. At the end of the day, I give these headphones a 5/5 rating. If you're on the fence, jump off and run towards these. Your ears (and your sanity) will thank you.

The Noise Cancelling itself is still the best in the industry. With the ability to handle the bass sounds I look for. ALMOST perfect for an Autistic person. I knocked off a star for this adaptive noise cancelling and the durability of the ear cushions. As for the adaptive noise cancelling, I am not finding where to turn it off. If I wanted the noise cancelling to turn down I'd do it myself thank you. And next, the durability of your ear cushions NEED improvement. I have had every Quiet Comfort headphone model since the QC 25 and the fabric around the foam of the ears don't last a year before the stitching comes loose and then does the foam comes loose on EVERY SINGLE ONE (before these Ulta ones) SO FAR. That makes them unusable for anyone, but especially for an Autistic person such as myself. For $400+ headphones this is unacceptable. I should not need to buy replacement ear cushions, or get replacements sent under warranty, when they are barely a year old.

I love three new, simple features: 1). No more wretched micro USB jack! Love the non-polarized USB-C charging jack 2) Love it when they shut off when I take them off for an hour, or for the night. They don't use up the battery charge any more! 3). Slick touch-slide volume control. 1 less button to fool with.

These headphones are fantastic in many ways, so I'll list just a few highlights here. 1. they're comfortable - fitting over the ear without bending it in any way. 2. The range of sound production - while it might throw some people off at first it mimics moving through music incredibly well and is crystal clear even on lower levels. 3. Noise cancellation - very effective, even in loud machine shops! When it's turned off, however, you can hear around you very well which is ideal for situations where you'd want to be more aware of your surroundings. 4. The battery life is very solid - after 2 weeks of near daily use I've charged them maybe 3 times? I also like that they tell you how much battery they have left when you put them on.

I bought the desert gold ultra 3 weeks ago to replace my old QC15 headphones and wow! Classy look and classy performance, an amazing difference to the old and I considered the QC15's great. The Bluetooth is great, seamless connection - no more wires and they sound amazing, the noise cancellation is next level. Makes a 5.5 hour flight a whole more comfortable. They are also the most comfortable, lightweight, and glasses friendly clamping pressure I've tried. If I get as much value out of these as I did the old ones it will cement my loyalty to Bose for a lifetime!

I currently own the generation 1 version of the Quietcomfort Ultra headphones and can honestly say generation 2 improves on the already stellar audio quality, functionality and design. I really like the new Cinema mode as it gives a different depth of audio for movies that I didn't know I needed. The shiny design just adds to the premium feel of the build. The battery life I can tell has improved as well and I like not having to charge so often.

For starters, the case is elegant, the headphones feel elegant to hold and fit wonderfully - the seal around the ear is very effective which enables the new audio features to shine. The sound quality is excellent!! The immersive audio modes allow you to quickly change the headphones to suit your needs. The controls are intuitive and easy to operate. Lastly, the Bluetooth connectivity is fantastic. The QC Ultra's seamlessly juggle connections from iPhone to iPad to Peloton to PC. Well done Bose!!!

My first impression when the package arrived was "how did they make the case so small". My original QC headphones from many years ago had a much larger footprint. This case should be easy to pack almost anywhere. When I opened the case I was very impressed by the look. I have the black and they are beautiful. The adjustment was easy, I have a large head and my wife buys hats in the kids section. We were both able to get a comfortable fit. We both wear glasses and they were still comfortable and blocked ambient noise very well. I like to see how intuitive products are, so after making sure that they were fully charged I tried to turn them on. I found a large unmarked button and a button marked Bluetooth. After unsuccessfully trying to turn them on with the large button, I looked at the box. The box showed the Bluetooth button as the power button. A bit confusing in my opinion. I am a read the instructions first type, while many people I know, throw out the instructions and just try to figure it out. My intent was to see how easy it would be for them. I linked them to the Bose app as well as my phone, tablet and my Nintendo Switch 2. Switching from device to device was effortless. I wanted to see how well they handled phone calls. I made and received calls indoors with the tv on, outdoors in the wind, in the car on the highway and in a busy hospital. I never had a problem hearing or being heard. The equalizer in the app is nice to have, but I did my testing the way they came. I am not an audiophile, but I know what I like and the Bose sound profile works for my family. We have a Flex speaker, soundbar, earbuds, an older theater system and my original QC headphones from years ago. All of which still work. The quality of all the products has been wonderful. I say this from a background in Quality Control being a QC manager for a major electronics house. On the negative side, I feel that putting the headphones back in the case can be a little confusing. They never seem to fit as nicely as the day I took them out. When I turned them on and started listening they sounded great. I listened to everything I could find from classical to jazz and Pop to hard rock. I was pleased throughout, but some people (my grandkids) wanted more bass and just used the equalizer in the app. Then I found immersion mode, I tried the demo and then started using it for everything. It is amazing and became my go to mode. The sound seems to come from everywhere and I enjoy it very much. I watched a few movies on my tablet in cinema mode, but I went back to immersion. I mentioned comfort earlier, but the headphones just have a very high end feel. I have used competitors products that squeezed my head and caused discomfort. I wore the Bose for hours at a time, with glasses on with no issues. The cushions are very soft and I never felt the need to constantly readjust the fit as I have with other products. The controls are very compact and work pretty well.The multifunction button works well but the volume control is a bit touchy. In conclusion, they are the best headphones that I have ever used and I would recommend them to anyone.

Just do it! The Quiet mode is actually good enough to cancel out the rain on the roof. My Plantronics U8000 wouldn't do that. If my new Bose last as long as them, I'll have them for many years to come. Movies and music are great! Phone calls are just ridiculous; I can hear chairs squeaking, papers shuffling and air conditioning running. They have all the features I've been used to for years but better. Very comfortable to wear all day, grip pressure is just right without being too tight/loose. Multi-function button is something I'm used to so no problems there. Again Bose outdid themselves, as usual. This second generation of the QuietConmfort Ultra Headphones are a step up from the previous generation in almost all aspects. It has a sleek design, love the metal hinges and are an absolutely comfortable pair of cans. I've been wearing them for hours at a times and did not felt any fatigue and they are very lightweight compared to some other earphones I own. Now, from the sound perspective, I couldn't be more pleased with how customizable these are, and from the app you can basically tweak every aspect of them to the very minimal details to tailor to your likeness. I recently wore them on a plane and literally had a crying baby in the back seat and the ANC was a bliss. I slept for most of the entire flight and this option, as usual, is a welcome addition to any long flight. I even switched them for another brand with my wife and these felt more comfortable to use and the ANC felt more to my likeness, not too heave but smooth enough to isolate plane and voice noise as well.

Beautiful finish and very comfortable to wear. I've worn them for several hours at a time primarily streaming music and movies. The audio clarity is outstanding and when streaming music I've become a big fan of the immersive audio experience, (it's close to being there). Quiet mode is awesome in eliminating distractions. Controls are all conveniently located on the right hand side and the volume strip is easy to use, as simple as swiping up or down. Two neat features I'm particularly impressed with are 1. automatic audio pause when you lift the right ear cup and 2. the fact that they automatically go to sleep when removed from the head (no more dead battery). After using these headphones for about a month I have no hesitation in recommending them to others.

I have owned Bose headphones since the original pair that was ever released.  Fast forward to about 5 pairs later, these headphones took me by surprise.  This was very close in experience to unboxing and using the original iPhone.  An absolute game changer. Things I like: 1.  Greatly improved mechanical design.  Seems much more sturdy than other models, as you can definitely see the metal components. 2.  Much more premium feel.  I do not feel like the cushions will disintegrate anytime soon. 3.  Auto power-off!  This is a big feature with as seamless UI as possible - put them on, they turn on.. take them off, they shut off to save power.  Absolutely brilliant and something that I have wanted for a while.  I typically come back to discharged headphones after forgetting to turn off the switch. 4.  Single button control, volume slider.. definitely very intuitive, versus having a multitude of buttons all over the place. 5.  No problems charging with high-wattage adapters, as sometimes the older versions did not "recognize" my charger. 6.  Immersive audio - definitely something that I did not expect.  The experience was similar to listening to a pair of liquid-cooled speakers in the early 2000s.. this absolutely blew me away.  It would be great to use these headphones with a VR setup. 7. You can finally charge and listen at the same time! This was a big thing missing from virtually all QC models and I'm glad to see that Bose has finally implemented it. Especially on long flights, this feature is a lifesaver! Overall, I definitely feel that this is the absolute best pair of Bose headphones that I have ever owned and I'm happy that Bose had made all these changes.
