The BG-UHD-88M18G is a professional HDMI2.0 Matrix Switcher with Audio Matrix. It includes eight HDMI inputs and eight HDMI outputs with down-scaling. This unit is designed for switching HDMI2.0 and HDCP2.3 compliant signals. It also features SPDIF and analog audio outputs for audio matrix functionality. Additionally, it features comprehensive EDID management and advanced HDCP handing to ensure maximum compatibility with a wide range of video sources. The matrix switcher not only supports bi-directional IR, RS232 extension but also has IR, RS232, and TCP/IP control options.

Ultra HD refers to a TV resolution of 3,840 x 2,160 pixels. That's four times as many pixels than in a full HD TV, a total of about 8.3 million pixels. Having so many pixels means a higher pixel density, and you should have a clearer, better defined picture.

The maximum bandwidth possible due to the introduction of HDMI 2.0. Prior to HDMI 2.0 was HDMI 1.4 limited to 10.2 Gbps. The new technology permits resolutions of 4K@60Hz (4:4:4) while still capable of transmitting audio and control signals simultaneously.
