Our OM1 Orange 62.5 Micron Multimode Tactical Fiber Snakes are constructed with a highly flexible tight-buffered tactical cable, fortified with internal aramid strength members. This unique design ensures superior crush resistance in high traffic areas when handled correctly, and a durable polyurethane outer sheath built to withstand the pressure exerted by military tanks and Outside Broadcast vehicles.

Each assembly is multi-stage machine polished and rigorously tested in our Fiber Shop, using OCC Multichannel Tactical Cable and Heavy Duty Connectors with Dust Caps. The individual channels are ruggedized with Orange Techflex Protection and feature a 36-Inch Fanout for enhanced durability and performance.

The compact, round cable design facilitates easy transportation and deployment, making it suitable for use in adverse environments where reduced size and weight are crucial. The helically stranded cable core offers flexibility, deployment survivability, and exceptional mechanical protection for the optical fibers.

Tested and proven in military data communications applications worldwide, this tactical fiber optic cable can be deployed directly on the ground in all terrains, including severe environments. It's chemical-resistant, making it suitable for outside broadcast, industrial, mining, and petrochemical environments.

The cable is crush-resistant and resilient, thanks to a thick layer of aramid strength members. It's also jacketed with polyurethane for enhanced abrasion, cut, and chemical resistance. The fanouts are color-coded with Orange Techflex for added protection, and the cable meets and exceeds MIL-PRF-85045 specifications.

Note: The Camplex Tactical Fiber Snake Reel includes broadcast fiber optic cable reels with a connector protection cavity and a hinged latching door. Each reel is carefully selected to ensure proper support and maintain the critical bend radius required by fiber optic cables. For optimal storage, we recommend that tactical fiber optic cables over 25 feet be stored on a cable reel. Custom lengths and configurations are always available.
