Constructed with a highly flexible tight-buffered tactical cable, this snake reel boasts internal aramid strength members, providing superior crush resistance in high traffic areas when handled correctly. The polyurethane outer sheath is designed to endure crushing by military tanks and outside broadcast vehicles, demonstrating its exceptional durability.

Each assembly is multi-stage machine polished and tested, ensuring the highest quality. Built in our Fiber Shop, this snake reel features OCC Multichannel Tactical Cable and Heavy-Duty Connectors with Dust Caps. Each channel is ruggedized with Techflex Protection and a 24-Inch Fanout, ensuring longevity and reliability.

The compact, round cable design facilitates easy transportation and deployment, making it an invaluable tool in adverse environments where reduced size and weight are crucial. The helically stranded cable core offers flexibility, deployment survivability, and exceptional mechanical protection for the optical fibers.

This tactical snake reel has been tested and is currently in use in military data communications applications worldwide. It's suitable for temporary outdoor deployment directly on the ground in all terrains, including severe environments. It's also chemical resistant, making it ideal for outside broadcasts, industrial, mining, and petrochemical environments.

The crush-resistant and resilient design, coupled with a thick layer of aramid strength members, ensures the cable's durability. The polyurethane jacket offers additional protection against abrasion, cuts, and chemical resistance. This product meets and exceeds MIL-PRF-85045 specifications.

Note: Our Tactical Fiber Snake Reel includes broadcast fiber optic cable reels with a connector protection cavity and a hinged latching door. Each reel has been carefully selected to ensure proper support and the critical bend radius required by fiber optic cables. For optimal storage and longevity, we recommend that tactical fiber optic cables over 25 feet be stored on a cable reel. Custom lengths and configurations are always available to cater to your specific needs.
