Aftershot Pro 3 is too unstable

I installed AfterShot Pro 3 and never got to the stage of being able to use the product. The install crashed twice. Once installed it crashed during registration. After finally registering, I attempted to actually use the product. And it crashed. Twice. At this point I've tried using this product for 10 minutes and it's crashed 5 times so I threw in the towel and unistalled it. I never got to the point of being able to even see the main screen of the program. Maybe this works great on a Mac but I have a windows machine and this is the least stable program I've ever tried using.

Great Camera and quality videos

This is a great product and priced perfectly. We got the bundle and everything was just as described, with fast shipping. If there could be on change to the bundle that we would like to see, it would be a secondary battery to have charged and ready, as video recording uses the battery up quickly. We highly recommend this product.

Nice Software Bundle

I received this free with my purchase of a camera bundle. I like the paint shop pro and video studio so far. Haven't used the others. Learning curve doesn't seem to bad. Also seems to be pretty easy on the computer resources. Great for the hobbyist.

Garbage

Some very common, and expensive cameras are not compatible with AfterShot Pro 3 so you can not edit RAW files. You also can not edit RAW files that have been converted to DNG. If you just want to play around with the JPEG files from your point and shoot this may work for you. But if you want to work with RAW files make absolutely sure you camera is supported by this software first. Wasted the better part of my evening downloading all these programs because they advertise being so great with working on RAW files, what a joke.

PC or MAC is the question

This is downloadable software from Corel. The packaging does not indicate whether it is for PCs, MACs, or either one. My past experience is that Corel does not make MAC compatible software. So my guess (without going to the trouble of downloading to find out) is that this is of no use to Apple MAC users.

Will probably give it away

I don't have any use for any of the software. Might be good if I didn't already have an established workflow for my digital photography, and wanted to get my feet wet with something. If someone asked me, I don't think Corel stuff would be my first recommendation.
