Just weighing 5.5 lbs, the Pro Series LED1000 60W Daylight LED 3-Light Studio Kit with V-Mount Battery Plate is a versatile and portable lighting solution for professionals in the broadcast and film industries. This high-quality product from Dracast's esteemed Pro Series is renowned for its uncompromising build quality, high light output, and compact design. Ideal for location work, interviews, and small sets, this LED light panel offers superior color accuracy and high-CRI light output. Its daylight-balanced, 5600K color temperature makes it a perfect companion for strobes or HMI fixtures, and it effortlessly balances with ambient daylight conditions. The LED1000 Pro Series Daylight light panel features a large manual control knob that allows for convenient dimming from 0-100%, with negligible color shift. Encased in a durable anodized aluminum frame, the light panel is supported by an oversized, U-shaped yoke with locking knobs on each side and a standard 5/8" receiver. This high-output, ultra-bright 5600K color temperature light panel is perfect for interviews, studios, live streaming, video conferencing, and more. With a CRI >= 95 and TLCI, you can expect the highest quality light output with excellent white color rendition, free from any green or pink tint. This makes it an excellent choice for YouTube, Zoom, and on-location lighting where bright, high-output lighting is essential. The Dracast build quality is evident in the anodized aluminum metal housing and frame, ensuring excellent durability. The kit includes a mounting yoke with a 5/8" baby pin adapter and an individual soft carrying case for easy storage and transport. The Pro Series LED1000 60W Daylight LED 3-Light Studio Kit offers both A/C and battery power options. You can plug the Dracast lights into the wall using the included AC / DC power adapter or take your kit on location with the v-mount battery plate compatible with v-mount style batteries. The kit also includes 90Wh Compact V-Mount Lithium Ion Rechargeable Batteries, designed for all V-mount with a 14.8 VDC power requirement, and a Dual V-Mount Battery Charger that allows for simultaneous charging of two V-Mount batteries. Finally, the kit comes with a DCB 8505 Injection Molded Travel Case, designed and laboratory tested for high impact resistance, water resistance, and element protection. Also included are Barn Doors, Light Stands, a Diffusion Filter Pack, Filter Frames, and Nylon Padded Soft Cases.

The new knobs on the light for color temperature and brightness are sturdier than previous versions.

The first time I used the pair of these I bought was on a shoot for NBC's Today Show.  I used the Dracast Silkray 600 and 800 units as the main lights and the LED 1000's to light up the background.  The 45 degree beam spread allowed me to precisely direct the light just where I wanted and with the barndoors attached I could shape the light nicely.  I love the quality and feel of these Dracast lights.  To me, they are the "next generation" of LED lighting units.  Superior build quality and should hold up under professional use.
