My key equipment for Livestreaming
I love this product. The only thing I wish was that it had 2 USB-C ports so I can record and use it for livestreaming at the same time. I don't want to buy the extreme version which has 8 camera inputs as its an overkill for me. Otherwise, this is a great product for livestreaming. The PiP function via buttons is just a joke where it does not let me use the size I want.. I hope they fix this in future firmware updates.

Great video switcher
This is a great switcher. I use for live streaming church services and I am more than pleased with the efficiency of this device. It switches between 4 cameras or HDMI devices, I use it with cameras and an NDI feed from my Mac and it does wonders. I can do lower this, picture in picture and even run macros using the included software. It works great and is definitely worth the price.

$200 Reduction in price made me buy it.
I had been eyeing the Mini for a long time and almost bought it a few weeks ago but decided to wait, and I'm glad I did. The Mini was discontinued and the Mini-Pro was reduced in price by $200 which was just enough of a reduction in price to make me buy. I own a lot of cameras. I hooked up four of them (Olympus OM-D E-M1 Mark II Mirrorless, Pentax K-70 DSLR, Nikon D3500 DSLR, Canon T2i DSLR) and then played around with it. I was impressed with how well it worked and more so by how well it accepted the old Canon T2i and low-end Nikon D3500. I was most impressed that I was able to record to an external drive connected to the USB port of the Mini-Pro and how it just kept on recording when one of the four cameras suddenly shut down (dead battery). This is going to be a lot of fun to play with.

Desappointed
The purchase was smooth and what motivated me the most was the possibility of fast delivery (next day) due to the urgency I had. The problem is that after 3 days of purchase I still haven't received the product and apparently it will take at least 3 more days, that is, I won't get the product in the time I need it. Disappointed.

Great solution!
This is an amazing piece of tech that makes streaming so easy. More audio controls and a headphone out would be nice, but there are workarounds for these issues. Overall, I am very pleased!

ATEM Mini Pro
This device has upgraded my production quality in a tremendous way. It?s lightweight, portable and a production beast. The only thing I wish is that there were two outputs so that I could have a multi view AND a program out but for the price and quality, this device absolutely delivers!!

Good Product, but Clunky Workflow in Control Software
I like this encoder quite a lot - it is plug and play with my blackmagic cameras, and the switching / monitoring features are intuitive. I travel onsite for most of my work, so the fact that it is so lightweight and durable makes a huge difference. The control software however is not easy to use. The graphic overlay feature is especially time consuming. If Blackmagic does a major overhaul on the control software then I will have no complaints at all!

Mini Pro upgrade
Upgraded from the ATEM Mini to the Mini Pro and found the difference is significant with the ability to preview all inputs. Used this for a live production and would not have been able to do it near as well with the older Mini.

This is a very nice, very well built, small but powerful switcher/streamer. We are big Blackmagic users, and this little ATEM is a welcome addition to our team. It just works. Works connected to a computer to stream to the internet live pictures from HD cameras and stills. A video player can also be connected to transmit pre-recorded video. The ATEM Mini Pro ISO.
The ATEM Mini Pro ISO model makes it simple to edit live video while recording up to 5 video streams, including clean feeds of all inputs and the program recording, all at the same time. The video files include metadata tags such as synced timecode and camera numbers while opening up a world of editing options including new color grades, effects and graphics. Even the audio sources are all recorded so you can professionally mix & master audio in real time.
Simple Controls For Complex Productions.
The ATEM Mini Pro ISO model can also save a DaVinci Resolve project file, so with a single click, you can open a live production as a video edit. All cuts, dissolves and media pool graphics will be loaded, this means you can fine tune edit points or even completely replace shots. The DaVinci Resolve Sync Bin allows for the selection of new shots via multiview, & relink to Blackmagic RAW camera files for adding professional color correction and finishing in Ultra HD.
Connect & Create.
4 independent HDMI inputs gives you full creative control over multiple video cameras. All video sources will re-sync to the switcher if they operate at different video standards, so you don't have to worry about connecting video devices.
Next Level Live Streaming.
The ATEM Mini Pro model has a built in hardware engine for live streaming via its ethernet connection. Live stream to YouTube, Facebook and Twitch in better quality, without dropped frames and with much simpler settings. Just select the streaming service and enter the streaming key. There are palettes in ATEM Software Control for streaming setup, and check out your streaming status anytime displayed in the multiview.
