Huge step up in my photos
Not only did this give me the ability to use off camera flash with the ad200 I bought, but it also connects to my Godox V1 which I didn't realize I could connect to a light stand and use as a second flash. Really happy with this purchase. Took me a few minutes to figure out how to hook them up separately so I can make both lights fire but at different powers, but I figured it out and it's awesome.
So far so good! A short comparison of v1 vs v2
This is definitely an improved version over the original v1 transmitter. The screen is slightly brighter, with more contrast, which definitely has helped in shooting outdoors and in brighter sun. The hot-shoe mount and foot also seems built sturdier too, which was a problem in the previous v1 iteration; that one was held together at the base by VERY tiny screws that barely protruded into the plastic housing of the main body, so it would easily come apart with no way to fix it. . . time will...
