I just watched Bryan Petersons latest video and he recommended using an FLW filter at sunset.The filter he used was threaded. was he really using an FLW or was it really an FLD.?JAMES Y : After watching Bryan Petersons latest video I ordered the FLW filter and it is still on back order.GERALDO S : Hi, actually, both filters are used for color corrections at similar cases. FL-W Fluorescent Hoya Multi-Coated (HMC) Glass filter is used to balance daylight film under warm white or white type fluorescent lamps. An FL-D Fluorescent Glass filter is used when you wish to correct for the greenish tone that appears when shooting daylight film under general purpose fluorescent lighting. An FL-B filter is used to correct the color balance when shooting tungsten film under fluorescent lighting.
