This high-quality, durable matte box is compatible with a wide range of lenses and offers an efficient mounting solution for NiSi's Cinema line of filters, as well as other 4mm thick filters. The C5 Matte Box is designed to seamlessly integrate into any workflow, from the fast-paced run-and-gun shooter to a full-scale production. It's the perfect tool to help you achieve the creative look you desire in-camera while effectively managing challenging lighting conditions. Constructed from robust Aluminum, Composite Plastic, and Carbon Fiber, the C5 Matte Box is built to protect your filters while keeping the weight minimal. Its clamp-on style features adapter rings to suit lenses with filter threads and cinema lenses with a 95mm outer diameter. The deep filter depth blocks glare and positions the filter as close to the lens as possible, ensuring no vignetting on lenses down to a 15mm full frame equivalent. The C5 Matte Box also features a Carbon Fiber top flag to further reduce glare from overhead light sources. The holder has side slots to minimize wind resistance, making it ideal for aerial platforms and gimbal use mounted on vehicles. The C5 Matte Box comes with a convenient pouch that holds all the accessories it comes with, making it ready for use on set with various lenses. The holder incorporates a top entry 4x4 slot for square filters in a tray or NiSi's Rotating filters designed for the C5. The filter tray can accommodate 2mm or 4mm thick filters. The side entry 4x5.65 filter slot is compatible with all 4x5.65 filters, from ND's to Grads, Mist, Polarizers, and more. The True Color Rotating C-PL for C5 is a new rotating C-PL designed to fit the C5 Holder. This Polarizing Filter reduces reflections and glare, providing an accurate, true color representation of the scene. The True Color VND1-5 Stops For C5 is a new rotating VND designed to fit the C5 holder. The 0.3 to 1.5 density allows for wider apertures while maintaining the correct shutter speed and ISO. The Variable ND offers True Color that avoids color shift seen in other Variable filters. The NiSi Cinema 4x5.65" Nano IR Neutral Density 1.2 Filter (4 Stop) creates a darkening of the entire image by four stops, allowing you to compensate for bright conditions while keeping your Aperture, Shutter speed, and ISO where you need them to be. The NiSi Cinema 4x5.65" Allure Mist Black Filter (1/8 Stop) reduces highlights, lowers contrast, and softens wrinkles and blemishes.
