Because capturing the perfect shot requires the right equipment, this Tilta camera cage kit, specifically engineered for the Sony Venice, offers a robust and versatile solution for your filming needs. Crafted from high-grade aluminum using precision CNC milling, this camera cage provides a sturdy protective armor for your camera, ensuring its safety during rigorous shoots.

The cage is generously equipped with multiple 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 mounting points, allowing for the seamless attachment of a wide range of accessories. This flexibility enables you to customize your setup to suit your unique filming requirements.

The integrated Tilta Battery Plate for Sony Venice, available in both gold mount and V-mount options, connects to the top plate via a pin connection. This innovative design offers numerous power outputs, enabling you to power your accessories from virtually any point on the cage.

The top plate can be directly attached to the base camera, but the kit also includes an extension for the top plate, ideal for those using the AXS-R7 recorder. This extension allows the cage to span across the camera and recorder, extending to the back of the battery plate, while also providing an additional P-tap port for added convenience.

The top plate also features a built-in 3-pin cable that, when connected to the Venice's top 3-pin port, extends R/S functionality to all of the cage's 3-pin R/S ports. This feature allows for streamlined control of your setup.

For those using the Venice's EVF, it can be conveniently mounted off the top plate by attaching to the 15mm LWS rods that can be inserted at the front of the top plate. The top handle is designed for easy sliding on and off the top plate, making it ideal for adapting the camera for Steadicam and gimbal setups.

The baseplate, featuring a built-in shoulder pad for comfort, is compatible with Tilta-standard dovetails. For those preferring Arri-standard dovetails, an optional Tilta-standard to Arri-standard baseplate can be attached, offering further versatility.
