- PTZ Camera -
The OTTICA-4K-30X delivers professional-grade performance with its 30x optical zoom and 4K resolution at 60fps, ensuring exceptional image clarity and detail. It features NDI|HX3 along with many other AVoIP modes for flexible, high-quality video transmission tailored to your workflow. With AI-powered tracking, the camera intelligently identifies and follows subjects, ensuring seamless focus during dynamic scenarios. The Blackout Mode allows users to turn off the indicator light, making it ideal for teleprompter use by reducing glare and distractions for the presenter. Additionally, the camera offers advanced control options, including an IP address selector via IR remote and compatibility with both analog and IP control protocols for seamless integration into almost any system. This 4K OTTICA camera also includes a Tally Light that can be configured to work with NDI or HTTP API.
NDI Integration
The OTTICA-4K-30X supports the NDI|HX3 protocol ensuring efficient bandwidth usage, ideal for constrained networks or remote workflows. Leveraging the advanced compression of NDI|HX3, this PTZ camera delivers 4K video with ultra-low latency. Furthermore, the integrated tally light utilizes NDI signals to automatically illuminate in red for on-air status or green for preview, providing intuitive visual cues to talent and operators directly through the network without requiring additional cabling or dedicated tally systems. This enhances production efficiency by allowing the camera to receive tally notifications from compatible NDI switchers or software, ensuring smooth multi-camera operations in live broadcasts or streaming environments.
AI Tracking
Leveraging advanced AI technology with integrated face recognition, the system precisely identifies individuals' positions, facilitating seamless automatic tracking.
Image Quality
The 1/1.8" CMOS sensor with 8.42 million effective pixels captures 1080p Full HD video. The ISP processing algorithm provides precise white balance and exposure control, delivering accurate color reproduction across varied lighting conditions. Additionally, NDI|HX3 enables flexible remote control and monitoring, allowing operators to adjust the camera's 30x optical zoom, +/-170 Degree pan, and -30 Degree to +90 Degree tilt via IP-based workflows, enhancing efficiency in multi-camera setups. The autofocus system delivers quick and precise focus adjustments.
Connectivity
The camera outputs through 3G-SDI, HDMI 2.0, USB 2.0, and network connections simultaneously at 4K60p with minimal latency. The uncompressed digital video output through HDMI and 3G-SDI meets broadcast standards. The camera also includes drop frame timecode.
Web GUI
This web client will allow you to control various parameters including pan, tilt, zoom, exposure, shutter speed, focus, color temperature, sound, preset positions, compression format, resolution, bitrate, framerate, noise reduction, character displays, indicator light, tally light mode, network settings, AVoIP settings, and many more.
Preset IP Address Selector
Use the IR remote to quickly select between five different IP Ranges. In some cases, this can be a quick way to change the IP address of the camera to match the range of your network without having to log into the Web GUI.
Blackout Mode
The OTTlCA-4K-30X features the ability to disable both the indicator light & tally light via the Web GUI. This functionality is particularly beneficial when the camera is used inside a teleprompter, as turning off the lights minimize unwanted reflections and glare inside the teleprompter glass. This feature also benefits the presenter by allowing them to concentrate more effectively on reading the teleprompter script without any interference or distraction from the indicator light shining from inside the teleprompter hood.
Tally Light Modes
For use-cases involving traditional HDMI or SDI, the HTTP API tally light option allows you to use the camera with Ikan's Tally Bridge Software in conjunction with vMix's IP tally feature.
PTZ Control
The electromechanical head offers +/-170 Degree horizontal rotation at speeds from 1.7 Degree to 100 Degree /s, and vertical movement from -30 Degree to 90 Degree at 1.7 Degree to 69.9 Degree /s, allowing precise movements to support professional broadcasting and live events.
Low-Light Performance
2D and 3D noise reduction algorithms maintain image clarity in challenging lighting conditions. With a signal-to-noise ratio of 55dB, the camera produces clean images in low-light environments.
Control Options
The camera supports control via RJ45 using protocols such as IP Visca, ONVIF, and NDI. Additionally, analog control protocols, including Pelco and Visca, are compatible through the RS232 and RS485 ports. For USB connectivity, the camera can be controlled via UVC and is also compatible with Zoom & Teams Far End Camera Control (FECC). These diverse protocol options facilitate seamless integration with existing control systems and enable remote operation.
- IP PTZ Camera Controller -
The Ikan OTT-CONTROLLER-V2 is a compact PTZ controller that allows you to control up to 10 cameras using either IP or analog control protocols. The large LED screen displays menu settings and network information, whereas the smaller LED screens allows you to control various exposure and color parameters.
Controller Interface
The OTT-CONTROLLER-V2 has ports for RJ45, RS232 (DB9), RS422 & RS485 (Terminal Connector), 12v Barrel Connector, and USB micro (for firmware upgrade).
Precise Controls
This compact camera controller features a high -quality 2-axis joystick for smooth control of pan & tilt, and a zoom rocker. Two separate knobs allow for control of Focus & PTZ/Focus Speed. The speed knob provides 7 levels of adjustment. Pressing and holding the Fn button will move the camera back into the default position.
Quick Camera Parameter Adjustment
By pressing either AE Mode or WB Mode buttons, the three smaller LED screens will display different settings combinations that correlate to the mode you select. Each screen has a designated knob for adjusting the value of the parameter displayed on the LED screen. These parameters include focus, gain, iris, gain limit, brightness, exposure compensation, shutter, red gain, blue gain, and color temperature.
Simultaneous Protocol Control
The OTT-CONTROLLER-V2 gives you flexibility when operating different cameras with different control protocols. Other controllers might only allow you to control using one protocol at any given time, whereas this controller enables you to mix & match different control protocols simultaneously. Compatible protocols include: IP VISCA, VISCA, PELCO D/P.
Preset Positions
To create a camera preset, simply press and hold one of the preset buttons for 2 seconds. When you want to call that preset, tap the same button and your camera will move to the desired preset position.
