To me, this lens is a must have for on the go shots.
My 2nd lens just after the GF110mm, after about 3 months of using the mid telephoto on the GFX100, what I like about the 50mm it is definitely the wider view. And I realise that the AF is really fast given that it has short focal length for the linear motor to easily glide at the touch of the AF-on. Great Lens, Easier To Carry, Useful Focal Length
The Nifty Fifty for medium format. (Nifty Forty?) If one lens could make the GFX system feel more portable, this is it. Sharp images with great contrast and color. I take a walk every day over my lunch break and this lens on the 50sII is usually slung over my shoulder. Works well with an extension tube for close up work too. Pocketable? No way. But the 50mm makes my GFX an option for general photography when I want to use something other than my X-Pro
