Phil W : What is the difference, other than qty, between this and Ilford Galerie Prestige Smooth Pearl Luster Fine Art Paper (8.5x11"), 50 Sheets SKU: ILGSP8511250 MFR: 2001753 for about 5x the price?ANDREW R : The only difference is the quantity. SKU # ILGSP8511250 is a 250 sheet pack, NOT a 50 sheet pack.
Shopper : Do you have this paper in a 100 pack?PETER S : Ilford papers i some sizes/quamtities will e difficult to find before the end of the year. Ilford was sold to its Australian importer out of bankruptcy and it will take until then for the new owner to refill the distribution pipeline with product.
Shopper : how thick is it? my hp printer reccomends a maximum thickness of 11.5 milJAMES S : According to Ilford's web site, it is 12 mil thick.ANTHONY S : It is 11.5 mil, see tech specs. It is not near as thick as a lot of the paper I use, but still great quality.KAYE E C : I believe the thicknes is posted on Adorama website. But I am using it in an HP Photosmatt printer and it works far better than HP paper with outstanding quality. You won't be disappointed. I use it for professional portrait photos and my customets are very pleased. I do not have any problem with paper jams or not feeding the paper through. Good Paper, Nice Finish

I like Ilford products and this one holds up as well. The smooth pearl gives a nice finish and it prints great on an Epson et-8550. Only had one hiccup where I believe an incorrect setting led to smearing but a printhead cleaning fixed that issue but it seems the paper is sensitive at least to the correct profile being chosen. Otherwise has printed great and looks great in a frame.

Quality Paper

Ilford Galerie papers are the best ink jet papers I use. They are consistent in quality, dependable results and have a fair price point. I also use Ilford darkroom papers and they are fantastic there too.

An excellent paper

Excellent weight and a surface that will perfectly reproduce anything your printer throws at it. You can spend much more , but unless you are looking for a paper with a specialty effect all it's own I wouldn't bother. The 13x19 version of this same paper can have problems staying flat, but this size is just excellent, and won't break your budget.

Great Paper!

I'm a student at Texas Tech and this was my first photo paper purchase besides darkroom photo paper. I knew Ilford from the darkroom process papers so I knew this was going to be just as good quality. I was not disappointed. It prints beautifully and is the perfect semi-matte paper!

Perfect Paper

My wife is assembling an album from family photographs dating back to the 1890. The pearl finish is perfect for the job. I tested the paper's ability to render colors properly when using the profile provided by Ilford for my printer. The results were exceptional. This paper is now my go to paper when I need prints of the highest quality.

Professional paper

I furnish family members and many others with color photos printed on various sizes of this Galerie paper. It is non-smudging, fast drying and has a superior non-reflective finish. I have used these papers for about four years and I feel qualified to comment on its superiority.

Great Paper

The best photo paper for any printing application. I use a Canon inkjet and the results are spectacular. I save a ton of dough over using this paper and my printer to produce very high quality prints for my use and for sale. I get great reviews.

This is my photo paper of choice

Have used this paper for 10 years. It was part of the ILford Studio System.This is the latest version and it is a little heavier. The Pearl surface looks great and does a good job of not showing fingerprints.It does help to wash your hands when handling to minimize body oil and/or wear gloves.
