The 100mm f/2.8 has an STF filter, which means two very important things: 1) You get the most perfect, round bokeh, edge-to-edge, always; no other lens has a satisfying bokeh as this one. 2) There’s a T-stop measurement for light that's different from f-stop for depth of field; this lens is best suited for bright or studio light situations. "
