Lindsey Optics 6.6x6.6" Brilliant2 Rota-Pol Circular Polarizer Filter

The Lindsey Optics Brilliant2 Rota-Pol is a circular polarizer that fits in 6.6x6.6" cine matte boxes and allows simple and effective rotation of the included 161mm Round Brilliant-Pol Circular Polarizer.

The included 161mm diameter Brilliant-Pol Circular Polarizer has a broadband multi-layer anti-reflection coating and has 38% transmission for a 1.5 stop light loss. The large 6.25" clear aperture is useful even with wide angle lenses and large zoom lenses. It is noticeably more useful than other rotapola filters that use 6" diameter polarizers (with 5.8 inch clear apertures).

Geared Rotating Tray for Quick and Sure No-Slip Rotation
The included 161mm Circular Polarizer is mounted in a geared rotating filter tray using one stage in 6.6 x 6.6" matte boxes. Rotation of the polarizer can be done by spinning either of the two geared thumb wheels by hand or with a motor mounted on either of the two 20 threads in the handle. The thumb wheel gears are engraved with letters A through H and one rotation of the thumb wheel gear gives a 90-degree rotation of the polarizer.

Our superior mechanical design includes an all-aluminum main gear in which the 161mm Brilliant-Pol Circular Polarizer filter is mounted. The main gear is supported by internal Delrin rollers for smooth no-slip rotation. The main gear is driven by aluminum thumb wheels that have standard 0.8 pitch gear teeth for use with motorized wireless remote systems. With our Brilliant Rota-Pol you can have a rotating polarizer in your matte box, even if your Clip-On matte box.
