This thing won't die! In the three years I have owned this range finder I have done things to it that should have obliterated this thing or at least knocked it out of calibration but it's still kicking. I have chipped this range finder from 25 yards out with a 60* to a front pin on a nasty par 5 on Tobacco Road. I have thrown it into my cart as if I was try to strike out bambino and let's not even talk about the fact I've never changed the battery. This doesn't do slope or all that fancy stuff but let's be honest, you aren't that good anyways to worry about slope there chunky Mc chunkerson. If you want something that is simple with a clear picture and will outlast any other range finder on the market, this is the one. I don't encourage you to try the things I have tried, I promise I wasn't doing them for testing reasons.

Quality product and gets the job done at a good price. Having the Nikon name plus the 5 year warranty makes it so much better than some of the "off brand" rangefinders that might cost a little less. Great optics (duh...Nikon), easy to use. Highly recommend.

After 2 years or so of use, the unit is unable to reliably acquire the pin 50-60% of the time - and when it does get a yardage I am given several very different yardages in quick succession. Not a quality product. And yes, I have tried to keep the lens clean numerous times. Would NOT buy this product again.

Good to have for the price. Slope readings are helpful. Improvements needed: 1. Rarely catches pin on first try, usually hits the background distance. 2. Display info should be illuminated in red or yellow to make info readily readable.

Easy to use. Great quality. Great to have Nikon quality optics in a golf scope. Can’t wait to use more often.

Used it today, pretty straight forward. Sometimes it didn’t register pin but eventually always did. Overall good product for the price and very easy to use

Nikon's COOLSHOT 20 compact golf laser rangefinder has been re-born for 2019 as the COOLSHOT 20 GII, with an increased ranging capability. With eight seconds of continuous measurement and First Target Priority, the new COOLSHOT 20 GII enables easy distance assessment to bunkers, fairway ends, dogleg corners, and ultimately the flagstick. As the smallest, most compact model in Nikon's rangefinder line, COOLSHOT 20 GII guides you from the first tee-box: is the group ahead of you within your range? Did you choose the correct Club? Answer the question with the COOLSHOT 20 GII.
First Target Priority displays the range to the nearest target among the multiple results obtained. This assures that the measurement shown is the pin and not any objects in the background. For 8-second continuous measurement, press and hold down the Power button to activate the continuous measurement function. The rangefinder will continuously measure the range for approximately eight seconds. This is useful when trying to find measurements of multiple or very small or thin objects, allowing you to know the distance to hazards, pins, mounds, and trees in one push and hold of the button. With this feature, you have the ability to scan across the green to easily pick out a flagstick from the background.
Featuring renowned Nikon glass & multicoating technology, for clear, high contrast views, COOLSHOT 20 GII’s 6-power monocular has eyeglass-friendly long eye relief and adjustable diopter for tack-sharp focusing.
