I've been looking for something to carry around a spare lens or two plus a few other small things and this has been a great fit. Like everything Peak makes the quality is awesome, I've been very impressed

I use the Field Pouch as my every day crossbody bag for day hikes, shopping, and travel. It is the perfect size and weight. The Velcro close keeps items from falling out-a problem with my other small bags.

Being a Peak Design fan, and owner of multiple items I really could not find a need for the Field Pouch. A sale price offer triggered my purchase and again I am happy to report that another functional and quality Peak Design carry item is in my possession. The way the bag just seems to fit my daily needs is a feature I did not appreciate until I owned the item.

Pretty sleek! Room for my Fujifilm, extra batteries and memory card. I wish the strap was a little bolder, but it works great as a sling pack, or as a camera pouch in a regular backpack.

I was looking for something small and water-resistant to carry some small things (keys/wallet/phone, sunglasses, and occasionally my Ricoh GRIIIx camera). It's the camera that's the difficult one, I really want to keep it dry. The fold-over top makes me more confident than zippers as far as water intrusion, and I've had no trouble in light rain (haven't had it in heavy rain, but it's small enough that it would fit under a rain jacket!). The included strap is functional, but is quite thin. Since I want to use it exclusively as a sling, I invested in a third-party strap with gatekeeper connectors and magnetic buckle -- there are many of these out there. Other aspects of the pouch are great -- minimal organization (a positive to me), "expansion" from the folding top, and I've carried a small (16oz) Nalgene inside, or with a carabiner on the strap.

I bought this last month and love it. I use it for personal day to day, and I'm a photographer so I use it to have with me on wedding days for extra memory cards, batteries, lists, etc. It's the perfect size!

I bought this a month ago and it has been a pretty much constant companion ever since. I thought it be too small for my needs at first, but it has actually proven to be quite spacious. Yesterday I rocked it with a Ricoh GRIII, a Contax G1 w/45mm f2 lens, my airpods case, and my house and car keys aboard. I jammed my phone in too at one point, a bit tight but it still closed. I love the versatility and the look is fabulous. Goes with everything from polished blazer to tank top too...

It's okay except for one major flaw. The strap unhooks itself when pulled from the side. It's happened a half dozen times at least. Luckily, it hasn't happened in some situation where the bag itself could have been lost.

I've been using the Field Pouch V2 for almost a month. I use it for everyday use; I'm not a photographer. I really like the flexibility of small pouch to full capacity. I only wish the pockets inside the sipped up pocket had a variety of sizes. None of the things I wanted to put in the pockets could fit. I tried to make one of them bigger but I ended up messing it up. I also wished the strap was a bit thicker. It feels very thin for the hefty pouch. Overall I like the versatility of the pouch.

I bought this just before a holiday trip and originally planned to use it as a pouch for all my cables and technology stuff in my suitcase. It quickly turned into my everyday carry, though, and ended up going everywhere with me. It was also very handy for keeping my passport and other essentials close at hand while at the airport. Loving it more than I expected. One of my favourite features is how easy it is to open and access with one hand, making it simple to find whatever I need in a hurry, while still staying securely closed when I'm moving around.

I bought this for a trip to Japan, to store an extra lens for my camera, and found it very lacking. Firstly, it's too small and not very useful. I have a Sony Zeiss 35MM FE 1.4 and a Zeiss Batis 18mm, and it could just fit one of the lenses but nothing else. The way it closes is not ideal for quick entry and there's no other way to get into the bag if you want to just access a small item. I feel like this pouch doesn't really follow the designs of Peak's other items, in that there's no simple access to the pouch and no other pockets or anything. It would be great if it had a small pocket on the back to slip in your phone or something. I ended up having to buy another small pouch at Muji that had all the same features but wasn't as durable as this pouch. I like the look of this pouch, but the functionality and practical use is very lacking and I regret my purchase.

It's a really solid piece of kit. Build quality is excellent: it looks sporty, feels well-designed, has a stiff/structured back panel, and overall it seems durable, well-stitched, and made to last. Despite the compact size, it fits a lot. It easily fits my Leica D-Lux 8 and a DJI Osmo Nano, plus filters, a small memo notebook, and still leaves room for a few extra small items. It's not bulky, but the internal space is impressive for a pouch this size. I can also drop it into my work briefcase without it taking over the whole bag. It would be extremely useful if the back pocket could securely hold a phone, similar to the Outdoor Sling with the magnetic closure. That would make quick access even better. Overall, good quality and very practical.

I use this small bag for trip. Good to keep wallet, phone, glasses, use as like waist bag but most waist bag is too big and bulky. I use small carabiner to attach to bag and put my pants belt loop. It's easy enough to take on / off but probably there is better idea.

Regarding the issue of the lid not sealing properly, I believe it is a design flaw in version 2. Its straps are attached to both ends of the bag, whereas version 1 has them on the back, with the two ends relatively close together. The design of version 2 causes the top lid to be pulled outward on both sides, a problem that version 1 does not have. Therefore, after getting version 2, I still followed the previous method by punching holes in the back and attaching two pieces cut from an old waist belt. This allows PD's camera strap to pass through the holes and connect to the waist belt pieces. It might sound a bit complicated-I will upload a photo later. PS: I updated DIY. In fact, it is easier to follow the PD design and directly pass through a belt. In addition, I compared it and found that V2 is still a little larger than V1.

I bought this item 3 years ago. I use it for my Fujifilm X100VI. It is a great Pouch. I use it a lot! There is only 1 thing that does not work well: the leash is attached to the pouch with two clips. When you clip the included shoulder strap to the pouch it will easy loose the connection because the 2 clips are to wide. You have to control the connection every time you use the pouch. I have replaced the shoulder strap for an older camera strap. I think it's a shame that it works like this, because I much more liked the included shoulder strap. I hope the new pouches will have a better construction.

Bought this to carry a fixed lens camera. Was slightly smaller than I expected but still works. Wish the sewn in elastic pockets had a few pass throughs for larger skinnier items. I do not have any issue with the strap as others have called out. It is small enough to fit in my backpack and function as a camera case.

I find this pouch very adaptable for travel and carry for many opportunities. But it seemingly excelled for use at Cons and Expos. Either used by vendor or attendee.
