Love this bag! I took it to Mexico, put all my essential tech gear in it and it had a pocket for everything. It was perfect for what I used it for. Now I call it my purse.

It's a really solid piece of kit. Build quality is excellent: it looks sporty, feels well-designed, has a stiff/structured back panel, and overall it seems durable, well-stitched, and made to last. Despite the compact size, it fits a lot. It easily fits my Leica D-Lux 8 and a DJI Osmo Nano, plus filters, a small memo notebook, and still leaves room for a few extra small items. It's not bulky, but the internal space is impressive for a pouch this size. I can also drop it into my work briefcase without it taking over the whole bag. It would be extremely useful if the back pocket could securely hold a phone, similar to the Outdoor Sling with the magnetic closure. That would make quick access even better. Overall, good quality and very practical.

I use this small bag for trip. Good to keep wallet, phone, glasses, use as like waist bag but most waist bag is too big and bulky. I use small carabiner to attach to bag and put my pants belt loop. It's easy enough to take on / off but probably there is better idea.

Regarding the issue of the lid not sealing properly, I believe it is a design flaw in version 2. Its straps are attached to both ends of the bag, whereas version 1 has them on the back, with the two ends relatively close together. The design of version 2 causes the top lid to be pulled outward on both sides, a problem that version 1 does not have. Therefore, after getting version 2, I still followed the previous method by punching holes in the back and attaching two pieces cut from an old waist belt. This allows PD's camera strap to pass through the holes and connect to the waist belt pieces. It might sound a bit complicated-I will upload a photo later. PS: I updated DIY. In fact, it is easier to follow the PD design and directly pass through a belt. In addition, I compared it and found that V2 is still a little larger than V1.

I bought this item 3 years ago. I use it for my Fujifilm X100VI. It is a great Pouch. I use it a lot! There is only 1 thing that does not work well: the leash is attached to the pouch with two clips. When you clip the included shoulder strap to the pouch it will easy loose the connection because the 2 clips are to wide. You have to control the connection every time you use the pouch. I have replaced the shoulder strap for an older camera strap. I think it's a shame that it works like this, because I much more liked the included shoulder strap. I hope the new pouches will have a better construction.

Bought this to carry a fixed lens camera. Was slightly smaller than I expected but still works. Wish the sewn in elastic pockets had a few pass throughs for larger skinnier items. I do not have any issue with the strap as others have called out. It is small enough to fit in my backpack and function as a camera case.

I find this pouch very adaptable for travel and carry for many opportunities. But it seemingly excelled for use at Cons and Expos. Either used by vendor or attendee.

I chose to buy this for my EDC that can include my ipad mini. It didn't disappoint. I use it with a slide lite instead of the included strap These are the following I could fit in it, from back to front: * Foldable bluetooth keyboard + apple pencil - zippered pouch * Ipad Mini 6 - main compartment * A thin sheet of cork cut from IKEA desk mat as a divider - main compartment * 2x pokemon go plus - main compartment * airpods pro - main compartment Then in the front pockets I was able to comfortably fit: * small notebook + fisher space bullet pen + rolling square edge pro * keys x3 * wallet clip with 6 cards What I love about it: * Expandable design makes it really vertically versatile * Looks amazing * Feels amazing - I feel that I can bring it anywhere * Water resistant * Zipper pull is customizable! It can be removed and you can use what you want * The light color on the inside makes it easy to find your stuff My "issues" with this bag are fairly minor: * in the zippered pouch, there are A LOT of compartments intended for sd cards. If you don't carry sd cards, these pouches are completely useless. I wish that you could organize very short cables instead * The front pockets are too small for airpods pro + two fingers. It's just large enough for the airpods pro by itself I think my suggestions may be more suitable for a v2.5 that is 20% larger. Since this bag is basically the perfect bag for an ipad mini edc, maybe there needs to be another version that is just right for a regular ipad edc? All in all I love this bag, I think it's 99% perfect.

I purchased this bag to store & protect a Fujifilm camera for a cycling trip through Colombia--the same camera shown in the action shots on the Peak Design website. This seemed like a great option, as it was compact, easily accessible, and protected the camera from sporadic hours of rain on the trip. Unfortantely, despite the advertisement and normal use of the bag, water was somehow able to seep into the Field Pouch during a rainy day soaking everything inside, including my camera and passport. I'm frustrated with the product, and the consequences of the waterproofing failure. Despite great design and accessibility, I encourage anyone who depends on the waterproofing (especially on high value items) to look elsewhere.

I bought and carry this because I could never found a 3L version of the Everyday Sling here in France. It's ok for my compact cameras and I don't worry too much about its Velcro fastener. Granted it's not overly roomy inside, but it's a small bag, not some Harry Potter device.

Perfect minimalist EDC sling can fit phone, 12oz klean kanteen, and misc stuff for when I don't want to carry a backpack.

Had used it as a sling bag for a year. Take a little force to install the hook. Feel it is secure but I was wrong. The hook is mysteriously detached a few times. The only good thing is that I didn't lose anything. And for a better detail, should velcro sew the last?

I thought this would be a useful bag to keep at my seat when flying, and use it as a sling when travelling, but I think slings are just not for me. I realized I wanted something bigger to carry my laptop too. Also wish it had a zipper and/or MAGNETS to close instead of the velcro which doesn't seem super secure. Oh well. I use it at home for camera gear storage now.

I bought it two months ago but never used it because the strap they include has slip-on plastic tabs and one side keeps coming un-connected from the cloth loop on the back side of the bag. Really wanted to like it and use it but unfortunately I'm planning to resale it...

I bought this to help organize gear for a two week trip across several European cities. It was perfect for holding small odds and ends. The pockets are handy for organization and the expanding size is great for adapting to different cargo. The belt pass through is great for a hip belt or sternum strap to keep things accessible when wearing a backpack. Since the trip it has replaced my usual sling bag to keep my personal effects inside my work backpack.

Field Pouch V2 was delivered in late Feb 2024 - my 1st PD purchase. I love the pouch, but your STRAP with the OPEN HOOKS that is supposed to SNAP onto the 2 loops on the pouch DOES NOT WORK WELL at all. At least 4 times, one end of the strap has come off, most often upon getting out of a car, or after getting up from a sitting position, when there is no gravity pulling down on the pouch to keep the strap taut. In other words, if there is any slack in the strap, it can easily detach. This is a poor design and I don't want to risk losing my valuables. I emailed the company about this and they suggested buying their Lease strap - it costs the same as the pouch itself!! The Slide and Slide Lite straps look great, but they are very expensive (saw less expensive straps online), more than what I paid for the pouch, and I feel like the pouch should come with a similar strap system, or at least a closed hook strap!! If I want to feel confident that this will not fall off/into a cliff/bridge/water when I get up from a bench, I will have to replace with a strap that connects using carabiner or other clips that are secure. My other comment is the strap is very NARROW (5/8" wide) and when there is a lot of weight in pouch, the strap digs in. The pouch is great- the strap, not so.

I bought this and a really like the fabric and the ability to change is size. The mini pockets inside the zippered pocket are to small for lip balm. Also the clips on the straps are smaller than those on the straps with the everyday bag. I wish those clips were included. They stay clips better. If you ever make a purse version of the field pouch, a magnet latch closure would be quiter, than velcro. Love the midnight blue
