The introduction of this lens expands the Star series' angle-of-view coverage from ultra-wide angle to telephoto. Fantastic lens that lives up to the hype.

When you gotta go wide

My previous lens in this range was a 10mm f/2.8 which I never could manage to get focused properly.  The Pentax lens is significantly more costly but will focus accurately and quickly.  I'm still leaning the characteristics of the lens but so far I'm very happy with it.
