To further enhance its user-friendly design, the aperture and focus scales have been strategically relocated to the side of the lens. This makes it easier for focus pullers to read them, ensuring precise control over the focus.
This lens is compatible with full-frame sensors and can also be used on APS-C-sized sensors. When used with the latter, the 35mm-equivalent focal length will be 22.4mm, providing a wide-angle view that's perfect for capturing expansive landscapes or intricate interior details.
The optical construction of this lens incorporates three high refractive index elements, two extra-low dispersion elements, one hybrid aspherical element, and one aspherical element. These work together to reduce chromatic aberration and distortion, producing sharper, more vibrant imagery.
