About Rycote XLR-3F
Explore the superior sound recording capabilities of the Rycote XLR-3F Small Modular Suspension, specifically designed for small diaphragm condenser microphones. This high-quality suspension system is perfect for microphones up to 120mm in length and 19-25mm in diameter, equipped with a 3 Pin XLR connector.
The Rycote XLR-3F Small Modular Suspension offers complete isolation from handling and cable-borne noises, thanks to its innovative cradle arrangement that uses Lyre suspension webs. These patented Lyre webs are not only robust but virtually unbreakable, as they are devoid of elastic or rubber components that are susceptible to wear and tear.
The Lyre suspension webs, available in five different varieties, have replaced the original silicone O-rings suspension and can be purchased separately to upgrade older suspensions. For more information on the different types of Lyre webs, please refer to the Kit Contents Tab.
This product also includes the Rycote Pistol-grip with an integral XLR MarkII holder and a boom adaptor (with 3/8" adaptor) for versatile handheld or boom operation.
The Rycote XLR-3F Small Modular Suspension comes fitted with a Connbox for maximum reduction in unwanted noise. The Connbox effectively breaks the transmission path of cable-borne noise, significantly reducing handling noise for a cleaner, clearer sound.
