This versatile system caters to a wide range of applications on set. The SKP 500, equipped with 48V phantom power, transforms all wired microphones into wireless transmitters. The MKE 2 Gold, a cutting-edge professional clip-on microphone, delivers exceptional speech intelligibility.
The system comprises a compact camera receiver, a bodypack transmitter with a condenser clip-on microphone, and a plug-on transmitter. It operates within ten UHF frequency ranges, with a switching bandwidth of up to 72 MHz. The system features 20 fixed frequency banks with up to 32 compatible frequency presets and 6 user banks with up to 32 user programmable frequencies.
The receiver is menu-driven with a backlit LCD display, showing a wealth of information including current frequency, frequency bank and channel number, RF level metering, AF level metering, lock status, battery status, muting function or line output level, and pilot tone evaluation. An auto-lock feature prevents accidental alteration of settings.
The bodypack transmitter and plug-on transmitter also feature backlit LCD displays and auto-lock features, ensuring ease of use and security. The bodypack transmitter is equipped with a mute switch, while the plug-on transmitter features an Audio-XLR-3F connector.
The ew 500 FILM G4 system incorporates the Sennheiser HDX compander system and a defeatable pilot tone squelch, ensuring superior sound quality. The system is powered by either two 1.5V AA size batteries or one Sennheiser BA 2015 rechargeable accupack.
