After extensive research and development, Sennheiser presents the ew 512P G4 Camera-Mount Wireless Omni Lavalier Microphone System GW1: 558 to 608MHz. This high-quality, durable, and professional microphone system is the preferred choice for broadcast quality sound, offering unparalleled flexibility for your video sound and field recording applications.
This innovative system features a robust wireless microphone that delivers ultimate sound quality, simple mounting, and ease of use. It is equipped with the legendary MKE 2 Gold professional clip-on microphone, renowned for its superior speech intelligibility. The portable transmitter and receiver are easily mounted, ensuring up to 8 hours of mobile operation for uninterrupted audio recording.
The ew 512P G4 operates within ten UHF frequency ranges, with a switching bandwidth of up to 72 MHz. It features 20 fixed frequency banks with up to 32 compatible frequency presets and 6 user banks with up to 32 user programmable frequencies. This wide frequency range allows for greater flexibility in terms of compatibility with other devices and systems.
The receiver is menu-driven with a backlit LCD display, showing all the necessary information including current frequency, frequency bank and channel number, RF level metering, AF level metering, lock status, battery status, muting function or line output level, and pilot tone evaluation. An auto-lock feature is included to prevent settings from being accidentally altered.
The bodypack transmitter is also menu-driven with a backlit LCD display, showing the current frequency, frequency bank and channel number, AF level metering, transmission status, lock status, pilot tone transmission, muting function, and battery status. It is equipped with a mute switch, which is switchable between "AF on/off", "RF on/ off" and "Disabled" via the user interface.
Both the receiver and the bodypack transmitter incorporate the Sennheiser HDX compander system and a defeatable pilot tone squelch. The audio frequency response ranges from 80 - 18,000 Hz (microphone) or 25 - 18,000 Hz (line), ensuring a wide range of sound capture for all your recording needs.
