An Accurate Surprise
I was a little hesitant to purchase this because I had heard small hd colors weren’t that accurate. But I was swayed by the Red camera control tech. And I was pleasantly surprised at how easy these monitors are to calibrate with the X-Rite module and the results! Great monitor. Accurate. Every tool you need and the OS is incredible.
A perfect monitor for on-camera.
It is perfect for my needs. I love the ability to add or remove modules. The screen is very responsive and bright enough to see in direct sun. That's all I can really ask for in a professional monitor. I upgraded from the 702 bright and can't go back. I was worried about smudges from my fingers, but it doesn't my viewing or experience at all. The lemo built in is such a wonderful feature too. The unit it lighter than my 702 as well. Can't go wrong with this kit.

The user-friendly PageOS 4 interface simplifies the activation and saving of different monitoring tools and focusing aids, all accessible with a simple tap.
The monitor's rear features an L-series mount battery plate, accepting two L-series batteries for an uninterrupted power supply. The included dual L-series battery plate allows for hot-swapping of batteries, ensuring no disruptions during critical shooting moments.
The SmallHD Cine 7 supports UHD 4K HDMI output, along with various HD and SD formats, thanks to its full-size HDMI input, HDMI output, one 3G-SDI input, and one 3G-SDI selectable input/output. The monitor's cross-conversion capability from HDMI to SDI and vice versa ensures maximum connectivity flexibility.
The Sony L Series Battery Bracket, compatible with SmallHD Indie 7, 702 Touch, and CINE 7 Monitors, enhances your power options. It allows the use of up to two Sony L Series Batteries and installs directly to the rear of the monitor for easy setup.
With four 1/4"-20 mounting points on the top, left, right, and back, the SmallHD Cine 7 offers multiple rigging options to suit your shooting needs. The monitor also boasts advanced control features, including RED Control Features for run/stop, color controls, exposure controls, status, color temperature, video format, playback, shutter, and menu control.
The software features of the SmallHD Cine 7 are extensive, including pixel zoom, DSLR scale, custom scale, anamorphic de-squeeze, image flip, image rotation, color focus assist, peaking, false color, dual zebra, waveform, vectorscope, RGB parade, histogram, image capture, custom LUTs, LUT import, image overlay, and audio meters for both HDMI and SDI up to 8 channels.
