vertical burned pixels row
It's a good monitor, but after 3 years, I got a vertical burned pixels row. I have had many monitors working for over a decade, and I have never had a similar problem.

Overpriced for what it offers, feature incomplete
No PIP, no PBP. Just marketing speak for some windows app.
Has issues with USB and sound resonance. Overpriced for what it offers

It never was repaired by LG a local merchant reo,
You referred me to a local repair shop in Bristol, VA, and Taylor repaired it in one day.

Crisp, vivid, outstanding on text and images
This is a really top-notch monitor. The 4K image makes a huge difference in visual quality. It reveals everything in a photo or video, good or bad. You may be surprised to see how clear your cellphone shots are, as well as how fuzzy some online video clips can be! It matched up with no fuss to my new PC using the included DisplayPort and USB cables, The picture settings were fine out of the box, no adjustment needed. The included speakers are just OK, and I suspect are mostly there for convenience. If you want really good sound, use a pair of separates. Overall, a fine product

Quality monitor for design work
As a content creator that does a lot of detailed design work, I purchased this monitor to use with my company laptop (macbook pro). I couldn't be happier with the screen resolution and color accuracy, which are essential to my work. If you need a bigger screen than a laptop but can't swing an iMac, I highly recommend this setup and as the world moves more toward hybrid and remote work this is a great option that allows more freedom than the standard desktop setup of old.

Good quality monitor for WFH
I?ve had this monitor for a month now and it?s really working well. As a graphic designer working from home accustomed to accurate color monitors, this one is very good. I was surprised, however, that the color adjustment function (for fine tuning) was grayed out for me, and maybe just haven?t yet figured out the selection that unlocks it, but in any case, the color seems pretty good with the broader menu selections I?ve made. The original USB-C cable it came with gave me power but no video, however, contacted customer support and they sent another one out right away that worked correctly.

Very nice screen to view everyday
I bought this monitor to use with my new Mac mini M1 and the combination is excellent. This monitor has a very good screen. Colour are great.

I love this screen!
I have used the LG Ultrafine 5k display for work for sometime, so this monitor had some big shoes to fill. After owning this monitor for a few months, I can say I do not regret it one bit. It just works how I need it to work. I use it for everything. I have my M1 Mac mini, my Switch, and my Apple TV 4K all hooked up and switch between them as I need. The quality of the image is amazing, details are sharp, the picture profiles are great, and the build quality is top tier. I may buy another to make it a dual screen set up.

Outstanding
This is a top-notch 4K monitor. With an array of inputs including 2 HDMI ports, a DisplayPort, and USB-C you can hook up any source. Equally adept for gaming or viewing Excel spreadsheets.

Makes the long hours at a screen much easier!!!
Constant requirements to use the monitor screen for document development, meetings, social interaction is so much easier now with this monitor. Being able to tilt helps my neck and the vibrant colors make the experience almost fun.

Great with MacBook Pro
Got this a couple of weeks ago. So each to set up as all the cables are included. Great picture quality and use it everyday for work. Great monitor for the price.

Excellent color accuracy
I bought this several months ago and have used it for office work as well as photography. Excellent color accuracy out of the box. Tweaked the color calibration with LG software and Spyder X for slight improvements as well. Display works well in both bright and normal conditions. I highly recommend this as well as its 32 inch cousin, 32UN880-B, which I also have and really like.

Great Monitor, especially for Mac users
This monitor has a very sharp screen for excellent viewing. It also has USB-C for easy Mac integration. The single joystick control on the bottom of the monitor took a second to get used to but it's super simple. I'm waiting for the updated drivers that Big Sur 11.2 needs to have control of the brightness and volume from my apple keyboard. That update will be extremely helpful. Otherwise it was a smart purchase!

It's been perfect!
I have had this display for a month or so now, and I gotta say, it's only gotten better over time. Other than using externals for work, I've never personally owned an external monitor before and the experience has been a great one. The colors are great, the OSD is intuitive, and everything just works. I would definitely recommend this display.

Very good monitor
This 27" 4K monitor has many things going for it. Colors are great (better than my 5K iMac monitor) as are images, text, and videos. The stand is well thought out and solid, and the connections in the back of the monitor (along with the cables that are supplied with it) are very handy. I'm not in love with all the different picture modes (I don't want to constantly change these), and the biggest negative for me is the single power and control button at the bottom of the monitor. I don't like the fact that I can't control the picture modes with my computer (currently an iMac), and that if this one button (which will get used a lot) fails, the monitor is toast. Time will tell how robust this switch is and consequently how good this monitor is. It is for this reason that I rate this monitor only as good rather than excellent.

These monitors are second to none.
I bought two of these monitors and have them connected to my intel based Mac through a CalDigit TS3+ dock and they work phenomenally together at 4K resolution each.

Beautiful and compatible
There was nothing wrong with my old monitor except that it wasn't compatible with my new MacBook Pro, so I made the leap to a larger one. The picture is beautiful on the LG, and it only took a minute to set up. I've watched video on it, and moving images are clear and sharp. This was a very good purchase.

Overpriced but decent monitor
The biggest disappointment is the very high price for an average monitor.
The Monitor has good resolution and is a great size for a home office. The stand's adjustability is lacking in that you are unable to rotate right and left, which can add difficulty accessing the connections in the back if your dest is facing a wall.

Best monitor I've ever owned
I've been using this monitor for 9 months now, and I couldn't be happier. It has great color and is extremely sharp. Setup was a breeze and I use it from 8 am til 10-11 pm regularly, and it has never let me down.
My ownly criticism is the bottom mounted joystick control. I would much prefer a row of clearly labeled buttons on the lower front of the bezel.

Ports do not work
Terrible display. Even worse customer service to repair product. Monitor flashes on and off while in use. Usb and c ports stopped working. Even the screen started to come off bezel allowing backlight to come through.

Onscreen control doesn't work with Mac M1
Onscreen control is one of the main features I chose LG. But it failed to recognise monitor via OnScreen Control app on Mac showing "There is no connected monitor" (I'm on Macbook Pro M1 MacOS Big Sur)

Great 4K monitor with one exception
It took me 2 weeks to search for a perfect monitor and finally I made a decision to by the LG 27UL850-W. Works great with my MacBook Pro also has 2 hdmi that I have hook up with my Nintendo switch and ps4. It comes with a usb c cable which I hooked up with my MacBook Pro, hdmi plus a DP cable. Although it only supports 4K at 60 hertz I prefer the quality of an image rather then the frame per second. The only down side I had with this monitor was the LG app program that allows you to control the monitor better. For some reason it doesn’t work with my MacBook Pro I have to use the display setting on my laptop The rest is beautiful !

Great Monitor but missing features.
Love the picture, price, built in speaker, and usb-c. I don’t know if the HDMI port is a 2.1 for the new PS5. And the main thing I wish this monitor had was picture by picture so I could split screen my ps4 and my laptop.

Nice monitor, don't know about Linux
Chose this to go with MacBook they gave me at work and the USB-C port. I was very interested in the split screen feature. However, I my personal computer is Linux, and the software downloads are only Mac and Windows. And the electric plugs are very wide, they block adjoining sockets on my power bar. Other than that, the picture is very nice, and the 4k is very clear even for small text.
