Great printer... when it works! I've seen this printer in action at other places and it's phenomenal especially with pictures and using the HP everyday photo paper including the HP Premium 100 brightness document printer paper. I had to give this review only 2 stars because after 160+ minutes on an online chat session with HP support (kudos to HP customer service) and using Windows11 on an HP laptop this printer just simply would NOT properly print colours. Every single Print Quality Diagnostic page came out with no magenta, no light magenta and the two yellows looked exactly the same (light vs dark). Anything I tried to print with colour looked like crap compared to my HP OfficeJet printing the same thing in the same house on the same network. After two plus hours of tech support they have now sent me a new Envy Pro 6475 which I'm crossing my fingers happens to work and the one I got was just a bum printer. Otherwise adding the printer to the computer and adding it to your HP Smart app was a breeze. Here's hoping the second one happens to be 'the one'! I will add another review for that one after I receive it. Personally I think they pushed this printer out before Windows11 and haven't properly updated the drivers accordingly to be compatible with Windows11. We shall see.

The reward for this printer definitely exceeds its cost. It also comes with free ink, however, missing the "magenta" color. But, I still received prepaid balance of $180 worth of instant ink. Not too bad.

This printer has never worked properly. I have to unplug it constantly to connect to wifi and have finally given up. Horrible product. There are no instructions on the printer itself and it does not work. I bought new ink because I didn't want to use the automatic feature and the printer won't load the ink, even though it is HP ink. I have always purchased HP products, but this is by far the worst. Don't waste your money.

This is a great little printer and copier but when I try to scan something, it seems like it will work about half the times I've tried. There is no rhyme or reason. I have determined it is not the WiFi connectivity. So, I have to give this Pro 6475 only a two star rating. It prints and copy's well, but it's has to scan also.

All our office products are purchased through Hp products. So, disappointing to say this printer construction is poor, expensive for what it is and doesn't print or scan as sharp as Hp says. Definitely would avoid this printer. They ship it fast but I paid extra for this service. In all, the final price was above $400.

This printer works well. The scan mode takes a while but does a nice job. I am pleased with all the things it can do, and it has a good price.

The printer is all that I need- scanning, copying and printing. There was no automatic download of the drivers and the instructions for this were missing and required a little research and effort. Not a big problem. What was a problem is that the printer cartridges did not contain much ink and I ran out of ink within the first two weeks. As I was on the ink plan, I just had to wait a few days for the first delivery. There should have been an estimate of the life of the first ink.

Would give zero stars if possible. Absolute trash. It is 2022 and no printer should be this frustrating. The fact that I have to use an app that does not work to print a simple piece of paper is atrocious. If the app doesn't work, which it doesn't, then I don't care how great the printer is, you can't use it! And that's coming from a millennial who lives on their phone. Fix your app and maybe your printers will actually work, just a thought. The two times it has successfully printed, it works fine, albeit painfully slow. If you are not looking to fight tooth and nail with an external factor when printing at home, look elsewhere.

We bought this printer because we're both at university and print things for campus. Ignoring the fact that it seems to be out of ink every two seconds after a few pages of printing. The "Load Paper" notification when it clearly has paper in it has to take the cake. I have to open the tray and close it between each page. Let me tell you how much time that takes. The error screen just flashes with little regard for an actual explanation. I want to throw this printer out the window on a daily basis

I bought this over a month ago, most of the time it sat on my desk taking up space. It would not print, and I could not scan with it. Nothing came with the printer which would give me any guidance, even the symbols were not explained. I finally got it printing, but does not always start when requested. I could not get anybody to even talk to me, I am quite frankly disappointed. My other HP printers have been better for me than this one. When it works it is fine. I will not say more at this time, I do want to give this machine a chance to perform.

I bought it less than 6 months ago and I will put it back on sale for those who have time for this piece of trash. No way to print Legal even though there is a feeder. Barely useable if you do not want to be connected to wifi 24/7 Ink service will let your prints be invisible and still say that your cartridge is not empty. Buyer's remorse at its highest. I am ready to loose half the price to change it. Never HP ever again.

This printer is complete garbage. It's never worked reliably for me. Rarely can complete two print jobs (1-2pgs each) without needing to be restarted. The lack of a display is a terrible design decision. Whatever perceived cost savings come from it are far offset by the utter lack of usability or clarity around what's going around. Also, the instant ink subscription is not worth it. DO NOT SIGN UP FOR IT. Just buy your cartridges.

I purchased this printer about a year ago. When it works it works well but it has a few issues that are consistent. First, it will not stay connected to the computer/wifi. I have to constantly restart it for it to print. Second, it doesn't communicate well with the HP Smart app, making it difficult to perform the various functions. Third, when using the multipage scanner it pulls the pages to one side more than another and they come out crooked. Finally, it runs out of Ink super fast compared to other printers I own. I give it an average rating because it does work well when it works. However, I spend most of my time using frustrated with the system trying to get it to work and I end up using another printer.

This printer will not stay connected to WiFi our my printer. When I can get it connected, it disconnects before the document gets from the computer to the printer. No one at HP seems to be able to help with the problem when I can get through to them. I have had the printer for 3 weeks and it has been a problem since day 1.

My HP OfficeJet Pro 8610 suffered a fatal failure and I needed a replacement. HP support recommend the ENVY and promised a quick return which was delivered as promised. It does everything my 8610 did and came with a years ink supply

I am very disappointed with this machine. It was recommended to me that I purchase the 5255 model, which is simple, easy. This model was no longer available so I purchased the 6455. I have had nothing but problems with it and have spent hours trying to correct problems. Online chat has been no help.

I have had many HP printers and this one is the worst if you do constant printing great. But the non change 2hr standby is bad. After months of this I threw it out. HP support didn't even help. Have to spend extra time just to get the thing to wake up and print. Only got it for good reviews but my time with it. Has been bad

The on-off button does not work, the function "light" indicator is too bright, print quality is awful. The printer is in the bedroom and the light is so bright it is worse than a night light. I have to cover the printer because on-off button does not work. The print quality is awful; blank spots, one line of text is perfect then the next line is smaller, and sometimes it combines text from previous page and carries it to the next page. I purchased 4 "extra" print cartridges from HP when I ordered the printer. I then get an email from HP accusing me of buying "store" bought cartridges and that is the reason why printer isn't working!!!!

I purchased my HP ENVY several months ago and it outweighs all of my prior HP Printers. It is fast and economical with the Instant Ink program. Very satisfied and highly recommended.
