A Fantastic Travel Camera
I purchased this camera prior to a two week (Cruise Tour) trip to Alaska. The ease of use coupled with the great zoom range made this camera a true joy. From aerial pictures in a helicopter to landscape and wildlife shots this camera was superb! The variangle LCD screen afforded protection when needed and was a big help when shooting over the heads of people.

Meyer at Adorama made my buying experience very pleasant, and I am very happy with this camera. I received it the day of the recent lunar eclipse (a day earlier than expected). I got some great shots of the moon using Manual mode and a tripod. My zoom shots weren't as good, but I think that was due to my inexperience with shutter speeds and f-stops (both of which you can set manually). I can't wait to try it for the next solar eclipse.
