no boom arm strength
The pricepoint for these mic stands is indicative of their quality. The boom arm doesn't not support much weight at all. Other than the strength of the boom arm, the stands are decent.

Decent boom stand for the money
Decent quality for the money. A lot of tightening is required to get the boom to hold.

Cheap Stand
I bought this stand because of a review I read, which said it was a sturdy stand for the money.......well you get what you pay for. NOT a sturdy stand.....when adjusting the boom to a 90 degree angle, the weight of the stand is not enough to keep the mic stand upright. Also the boom does not tighten very well.....I wound up replacing the handle and rubber disc from an older boom. I would have returned it but I threw away the box........UGH.

Excellent Mic Stand for the price
Great mic stands for the price. The screws used for adjustments seem a little on the cheap side. I like how light they are. I know other boom mic stands are heavier and that may seem like they're made better (and maybe so) but with the lighter mic stand, you could pack more of them into a mic stand bag, or some gig box and it not be as heavy.

WOW!!! Got it today..turned right around and ordered another one. And I don't even need a 2nd one. Could not help myself.
Mount/swivel for Boom Arm is all metal. All the threaded fittings and adapters are all metal. And the Boom Arm telescopes. Solid weight. Quality build!

Pretty heavy duty stand
Was pretty surprised at the fact that this is a pretty heavy duty mic stand. Constructed well. I expected some super cheap one considering it came with the focusrite recording bundle. But, upon opening the package setting up the mic stand up I was pleased with the stand. Its solid
