Absolutely love my Leica Thumb Support for my Leica Q2 Monochrom. The thumb grip was necessary and provides a better grip to my Leica. Highly recommended.

Excellent. If you can afford it get this grip. Perfect for camera security and handling. I tried an off brand and it was a complete waste of money. It?s in my junk box.

The thumb grip fits perfectly as it described. I was hunting this product long time since there were not much stocks in market. I am glad to get the product finally. The grip function is dramatically improved as I expected. The exterior color is much to Q2 body. Thanks

Only Go Leica Brand, it fits perfect and still enables you to use all of the functionality of the menu system on the back. Third-party some grips cover up some essential buttons. It is 100% worth the extra little bit of cash. Would highly recommend this. It's a game changer to the ergonomically and comfort of the Q2.

After reading many reviews, I chose the Leica thumb rest for my Q2, over the Thumbs Up version. I previously owned a Fuji X100 and really liked the Thumbs Up, however the Leica version contains a precision made button that allows continues use of the Q2 frame/crop function, and the Thumbs Up does not. Having used it for a while now, I know I made the right choice, the Leica thumb rest is high quality and the frame/crop button works flawlessly.

I love my Q2. One of the best point and shoot cameras. I use it everyday. Out of the camera photos are the best. I would highly recommend getting this camera. If I could I would own two.

Fantastic solid build quality, fits seamlessly with the Leica Q2. Fits my hand very well, for extra firm grip. Doesn't stick out so far that it get's in the way. Is it a little pricey for what it is? You could argue yes... it's possible to get a thumb grip for around $20 from other vendors, but if you're in the Leica ecosystem it comes with the territory.

Designed to enhance the ergonomics of the Leica Q2 digital camera, the Leica Thumb Support offers more stable and comfortable positioning for the right thumb during single-handed shooting. It’s a small device that slides into the camera’s hot shoe and seamlessly merges with the top rear side of the camera. It’s made of black CNC-machined aluminum to beautifully match the camera body. As long as there won’t be any other accessory that will require the use of the camera hot shoe, the semi-discreet thumb support can be kept on to allow easier handling and ultimately reduce the risk of camera shake whenever there’s a need to shoot handheld. The results are sharper photos and smoother videos, even with the use of longer shutter speeds.
Sliding the thumb rest into the accessory shoe enhances the ergonomics of the Leica Q2. With the thumb pressed up against the thumb rest, the camera can be held much more steadily and is easier to handle. It makes single-handed shooting much steadier and enables the use of longer shutter speeds without the risk of camera shake. The thumb rest is CNC-machined from aluminium, has the same finish as the Leica Q2 and, when attached, merges with the camera in visual unity.
