Nice but overrated

Great camera, sleek classic vintage style. However I find this camera to be very "overrated" It has such a cult following but I found it mostly to be a compromise for anything else beyond "street photography" ended up selling it for a profit due to supply chain and my XT3 with 23mm v2 pancake lens works just as well, has more capability and fits in about the same form factor

Dig it

Lovely camera. Simulates portra 400 beautifully. Once you set it up how you like, it is an ideal point-and-shoot daily.

LOVE LOVE LOVE!!!!

10/10 would buy 10 more!!!! This is a great alternative to the x100v, the film recipes that you would put on this camera are incredible? and the film simulations that are pre installed are top tier. BUY!!!

A darling little camera!

At this late date, what can possibly be said about this little gem of a camera that has not already been mentioned? It's a grand little piece, perfect for capturing those slices of life that happen on the fly. You can use it as a simple "point and shoot", or really get lost in the weeds mucking about in the guts of this thing. Either way, you'll be having fun and getting some seriously good photograps to treasure. I'd say grab one!

Love. Worth the wait.

Ordered the black one in beginning of January and got it end of May. It's been super fun using this camera with all the film simulations. Just a note that you might need quite a few accessories for it - all optional. Can't wait to continue experimenting with it.

Camera love

Love this camera. I'm still experimenting but so far I'm very happy I went for it. I ordered mid December and just received it. Honestly didn't expect it to come until the fall so that was a nice surprise!

Camera hardware does not live up to capabilities.

I purchased the X100V shortly alter it debuted. I bought here at Adorama. I used the camera bought an instax printer and was for a time a proponent of the product. I never ever thought that the day after the warranty ran out that the screen would begin to yellow. It began on the left side and steadily is creeping across the screen. (See photo attached). While the files are perfectly fine and useable having a camera with a yellow screen that prevents me from doing color balance and developing film simulations is really a loss to my needs. I realize that Fuji had sold so many of these they don't care about this. They can't even keep up. If you think the restock cameras will be good think about the pressure their production team is under. I worked for the Japanese and they want it out the door and don't care about the quality!! I found through internet searches that this is a problem with Fuji cameras. One dealer even went through 15 camera boxes of stock and found all but three had this yellowing issue on the rear screens. I suppose I will just use it as a beater get what I can out of it and move on. No more Fuji for me. Product support is non existent so be careful about this purchase. They will not stand behind the camera in any way. Dan Steinhauer

Great all around camera after 10+ years with a Canon

Quite the amazing little thing. I had ordered this back in Nov 2022 knowing it was backordered with no exact timetable. Around mid-March 2023, the camera had shipped and my card was charged. I wasn't exactly expecting it, but glad it did. Once I got it, it looked great in hand. The weight and build were much better than what I could tell by images and videos. Though it had some plastic parts, I still feel the quality was great for what I planned to do with it. Beautiful clear LCD and EVP? images came out great out the box with the Fujifilm recipes. Knobs and dials felt solid to use to adjust camera settings, though you could also change it in the settings to just use one or two digital dials to change the settings digitally. It's really whatever your preference is. I feel the biggest hurdle for me though was the the menu and camera settings. It's pretty daunting because there's sooo many options and many I haven't heard of before as I've come over to this system from Canon.

INCREDIBLE!!!!

This camera is even better than I could've thought! It's the perfect little camera that acts like an SLR, shoots like film but is tiny like a point and shoot. If you're looking for the actual perfect camera outside of a gigantic SLR, this is it!

Good HP Machine, Intrusive MS Software

Great machine, even at this early time in my use of it. Regrettable that I cannot say the same about the Microsoft Windows 11 software - it is much too intrusive with hundreds of concealed options. It is unfortunate that I cannot operate this machine independent of the network; if I could, I would. Not much that HP can do about that, but still a great machine. Thanks

Excellent Camera!

I own and use several Fujifilm interchangable lens cameras.. This fixed lens camera is just about a perfect pairing. This is the ultimate travel/street photography device. The X100V is fun to use and challenges you to think about composition more than any other camera I have used.

Fantastic Stills Centric Camera

Amazing camera for stills. Easily carried around and serves to capture moments more discretely than using my Sony full frame camera with a 35mm lens. It doesn't hurt that the look of Fujifilm photos can be made to look as retro or modern as desired.

As advertised. Enjoying it.

Enjoying my x100v. My only regret is that I didn't purchase this when it came out and had to go all over the internet to obtain one of these cameras. Very versatile camera for the form factor and a great camera to cut your teeth on.

Fujifilmx100v was worth the wait!!!

This is by far the best camera I have purchased. I typically shoot on a DSLR as I am a lifestyle and portrait photographer but the DSLR gets heavy and bulky to carry around for my own personal use. The Fujifilm is a great, compact size and takes crisp, quality images. The part that I love most is the film simulations! I am a big fan of Fujifilm's wide range of film so it's so great to have the same look but digitally at my finger tips. Besides being extremely hard to get this camera due to high demand, I am SO excited it's finally here and it was well worth the wait!

Happy Camper!!!

After my X100S went swimming in a glacier melt. I started looking into a replacement. There was few X100 series cameras to be found, new or used and most wanted a big premium. So I signed up on a waiting list, fully expecting to have to wait 2-3 months. Luckily, a month and a half later, I got the good news. One new X100V was on the way. Of coarse I scoured the reviews looking for the differences in the new and previous camera. I must say the hype was really building this newest camera in the series, to be quite the ticket. One week after receiving the new camera, I have to say, I am really liking this V. Things are just snappier, the button lay out is cleaner and easier to get used to, in my opinion. The new viewfinder is really nice. I am not sure why so many folks like the older disk over the new joy stick, to each their own. Kind of like photo images, very subjective. Over all, couldn?t been happier, well unless it was free. Ya, then I could be happier. :)

Two Ways to See an Image

To truly convey the magic of a scene, you need to be immersed in the moment andX100V’s advanced hybrid viewfinder gives you everything you need to do exactly that. At the flick of a switch, you can change between the X100V’s 0.52x magnification optical viewfinder (OVF), which uses parallax-correcting frame lines to let you see outside the shot, and its 3.69M-dot OLED electronic viewfinder (EVF), which gives you a real-time preview of your exposure. You can even get the best of both worlds by using the electric range finder function (ERF) to activate a mini EVF display within the OVF window.
