I would definitely recommend this receiver. I use it with a trigger as a wireless camera remote. This is my 2nd one that I have owned and I use it almost everyday. I had an issue with it when it arrived, but the Flashpoint support was very quick to respond and resolve the issue.

This works great with the 600 W flashpoint monolight and my canon speedlight. I was triggering the big monolights with my transmitter but wanted to highlight a sign in the background with a speedlight. I could adjust the speedlight's power with the transmitter until the sign was properly lit. Great product!

I use speedlights made by Metz, Yongnuo, Phottix and Flashpoint (Godox). Before switching over to Flashpoint remote flash triggers I had to use two different trigger systems and these don't permit controlling five (5) groups. The Flashpoint transmitter and receivers permit controlling five groups and with this receivers, I can combine all my other speedlights and control them with the Flashpoint remote trigger system. I'm using my Evolv 200 and Zoom Li-on Z R2 more and more. An added benefit is that the Flashpoint Evolv 200 and Flashpoint Zoom Li-on X R2 TTL are fully compatible with my Nikon mirrorless cameras. I don't like waste and will continue to integrate my other non-Flashpoint flash units with my Flashpoint R2 Pro Mark II and Flashpoint R2 Mark II transmitter. This Flashpoint R2 receiver makes this all possible and have full 5 group control! I absolutely recommend the Flashpoint R2 trigger system!

Does nto fire the 600 RT/ll using the camera. It fires occasionally with the button but not consistently. Gonna update the firmware which i shouldnt have to do on a new unit, to see if that makes a difference. i see many reviews here that says it works with their other Flashpoint R2 units. I think they should rethink that because the R2 units would fire anyway with or without the receiver, as long as the channel etc. match. You dont know if the Streaklight for example is communicating with the Canon camera, or the receiver is communicating with the camera. The test has to be with non R2 units like a Canon flash. After i update the firmware i will report back of the site lets me...

I bought two. I love that these can be used to either trigger a flash or the camera itself. Operation is pretty intuitive, and has a great range.

I purchased three of these receivers for my Nikon cameras. I own several different flashes and one was the Godox V1. That flash can act as a commander when combined with these receivers and the really nice thing about the system is that it allows you to use it with multiple brands of flashes. That was what attracted me to this system. It should be noted that the Godox version of this receiver is in short supply just about everywhere and even at Adorama, I had to wait six (6) weeks for their in-house branded version of the receiver to come back into stock for shipment. I am just getting into multi-flash unit shooting and I saw this system as a reliable and inexpensive way to do so while using several different brands of flash that included a Nikon SB-900, a Nikon SB-700, a Shanny SN-910 and the Godox V1. I really do appreciate the fact that the V1 or the Flashpoint R2 Pro Transmitter can act as a commander for these receivers and a multi-brand off-camera flash lighting set-up.

Works perfectly and is an easy set-up! This receiver was recommended by a friend and confirmed by Adorama it would work within my Canon speedlights and Godox transmitter that I use for my AD200 Pro. Appreciate being able control all OCF directly from the transmitter. Highly recommend!
