Great so far I love the idea of being able to print at low cost which is what led to the purchase

I needed a printer for homeschooling purposes that printed a high volume of good quality images and worksheets, without constantly needing to replace expensive ink cartridges. This printer is fantastic. It prints fast, clear images, and the ink tanks last forever, like thousands of pages, compared to a standard 88-100 max with a cartridge. The only pitfalls of this are that is has no WiFi connectivity abilities, and uses a cable which was not included with the printer package. I had to purchase that separately. The cable that the manual specified to use was also not the correct cable type? not sure what happened there. I often print materials straight from my smart phone, so no WiFi connectivity is a little bit inconvenient. Other than that, I'm super happy with the printer for the price.

I got this printer for my daughter to use for college. She is really happy to have a printer for herself. It prints smoothly and evenly. It connects really fast to her laptop and gets the order to print in seconds. It does a really great job in printing in black and white and color. It really is a good printer to have and to use.

I got this because i needed a new printer, wish I'd done a bit more research. I would've like to be able to print from mobile devices. However, its compact enough to fit on the desk and not take up too much space, the ink will last a long while, print speed is fast and setup was quick.

I replaced my ancient Cannon inkjet printer I had for Four years with this PIXMA 1230. My new printer is amazing! No more replacing expensive cartridges that last only a short time. Love the ink tanks, printing quality and printing speed is great. Prints on a variety of media and is economical. If you're looking for a reliable printer, I recommend the PIXMA 1230.

This printer was easy to set up and so easy to use. I love the fact that the ink is refillable and that it saves you money. The print quality is also great as with most canon products! cant wait to print photos of my kids on this.

I have started using this PIXMA G1230 MegaTank Inkjet Printer from Canon and I'm on love with it! It was very easy to set up. It doesn't have the regular cartridges it has bottles to put in for ink. You can print what seems like a million pages. Ink last forever. I love it.

This Canon Pixma Mega Tank inkjet printer was easy to set up. It came with all the ink (black and colors) that you need for many many printings. It printed fast and clear. It works much better than our old printer. I definitely would recommend this printer. Happy that the ink will last.

I received this a few days ago, since I needed a printer. I can say so far, we love it. It was very easy to set everything up and get it going. My child had a school project that she needed to print some stuff out and the pictures we needed to print out, turned out amazing. I couldn't be happier with the Canon printer.

This printer does a great job at just printing. Which is exactly what I got it for. The set up was quick and easy, and filling the ink tanks is quicker and simpler than changing cartridges. Just open the port for each color, attach the bottle, and gravity does the rest. The print quality is great for what I need, mainly text but the few images I printed came out great. I haven't printed any photos on specialty paper but I'm hopeful they print as well as the documents I've sent through. I must stress that this is a basic printer, it does not scan or copy. With all the pdf scanner programs on smart phones today, I figured I could get by without a built in scanner. The one feature that would make this printer better would be WiFi connectivity. We are a house of 5, each with our own devices. It has been a little bit of a hassle for each of us to go to the office and plug in when we want to print, but it's not a deal breaker.

This printer prints great in color and looks great! It doesnt take up too much space, and it doesnt jam like my old printer did. This is a quality product by Canon!! Installing the ink is so much easier too!

I love the concept of MegaTank since printers these days basically last as long as ink is easy to replace. This prints clearly and quickly, and the ink is easy to refill. The tank is quite large so you don't have to refill as often as regular printers. Very straightforward to set up and I was up and running pretty quickly after opening the box.

I'm in love with this printer. Properly packaged and ease of use/set up. 5 Stars. The most important thing I appreciate about this printer is that it came complete with ink and refilled ink. Additionally, once you run out, you can simply buy the refillable bottles that you simply flip upside down and it refills itself. Long term, this is the printer you want because refilling it takes SECONDS! The setup was complete in 5 minutes and I was printing immediately. I used a Macbook to set it up and loved the whole process. Highly recommend!

I have no idea why they didn't think to make the ink barrels sooner. My biggest complaint with any printer is having to go buy ink all the time. It's super annoying. I've been printing like crazy and have yet had to refill the tanks. My only complaint is it didn't come with a cord to connect for printing. It was a cheap fix by still I feel it should have came with it.

This printer is amazing. The quality that is printed on the paper is outstanding. The amount that I have printed already from it is crazy. I still have a lot of ink left. Definitely a great purchase. I would give it 10 stars if I could.

Set up was easy after downloading directions from the App Store. It was dummy proof with the ink fitting in specific areas, no spillage. Did not come with a paper manual but the app had one. Prints clear.
