Got an SPC-402 SPARC II Red Dot on sale for $99, threw it onto a brand new unfired S&W FPC 9mm, unfolded the rifle and took aim at 100yrds. . . . . 21 consecutive rounds hit steel with no adjustment to the zero needed! Perfect combo!!

Not a bad optic. Offers a low mount option, which is what I wanted. Includes removable flip-up caps and I like the auto-off feature for saving battery power. Overall it's a nice optic. My only two complaints are that the buttons are very stiff and require more pressure than expected to press Also the brightness transition between level 5 and 6 is very drastic compared to the transition between the rest of the settings.

Owned and used my Sparc II for several years now. I would highly recommend this red dot to anyone in the market, product is fairly priced for what you get and what you get simply works. Easy to use and accurate for what I use it for. It's mounted on a S&W M&P 15-22 and together they are the most fun I've ever had at the range. There may be better products out there but for what I paid, I would purchase again if I happened to lose it in a boating accident!

I bought this for for use on my Ruger pc9 unit with excellent clarity maintains zero all kinds of tough conditions. I bought the VMT 3x magnifier to go behind it before I realize vortex is not recommended but it works excellent still in combination with the sparc ii

I have this optic on my M1a Socom CQB 16 in .308. This sight works great. I was able to hit steel targets consistently from 100 to 300 yards. It held through atleast a couple of 20 rnd mags. I literally sighted her in, Put her up, came back an hour later, and hit targets right out of the bag. My spotter and I both thought its "good enough for government work". I have had a hard time finding a good optic for this rifle, especially for short and mid ranges as people commonly just go with a scope for this rifle. Crazy thing is I have Keratoconus in both eyes and even with my glasses things get visually rough at long distances but to use this optic without having to use a magnification, for the price, and the quality, It was a great purchase.

I picked up my first SPARC II from Midway USA for $99 a couple weeks ago. I put it on my Tippmann M4-22 and the results were amazing! It was very easy to sight in and I am easily stacking rounds. I like it so much I ordered a second one yesterday to put on my new AR that I am picking up within the next few days. Truly a great quality piece of equipment. I also purchased a Micro 3x magnifier to switch between rifles. Get this while you still can!

New SPARC II Vortex Red Dot. Neither switch operates without precise and extreme pressure on the centre of the switch. Exceedingly difficult to turn on and off as well as adjust illumination up or down. Otherwise very nice design. I chose Vortex because of their warranty excellence. I just did not expect to need to use it within moments of putting the battery in. It operates, but is almost impossible to use the switches.

I purchased this red dot and everything is great, except the battery compartment. The cover and lanyard was installed so tight, I pretty much scuffed and marred the battery cover just trying to get it off. I had to pry the lanyard a little bit to loosen it so it would actually move around the cover and come off. But, overall, great red dot and holds.

I have this mounted to my Ruger PC carbine. This works as expected - clear lenses, red dot is clear, and the controls are easy to use. Caps are nice and everything functions as expected. Wonderful product! Side note: I bought this optic used, so didn't get the short mount, only the tall and the spacer. Working with Vortex cust. serv. they were very helpful in getting me the short mount to I can use this site with a different riser that allows me to still use my stock iron sites. I also had an issue with the front site cap sliding on the body, so they are helping me with that as well! Vortex is top notch!!

Have had the Sparc 2 for several years and can't say enough about how much I like it and how the price point was excellent. Red dot adjusts to varying levels, can be sited in perfectly and battery lasts. While I don't use it on a daily basis, it has survived nicely.

I bought the red dot in 2012. Since I pulled it out of the box the dot has been blurry. I just chalked it up as a loss until recently I thought I would send it in. I sent it in only to be told it was up to specs. So now I got to chalk it up to poor craftsmanship. I guess I will be buying another one. There are better red dots out there I just got to spend a little bit more to get one.

I just purchased my 3rd Sparc II, NOT because of issues with the first two, but rather because I have had ZERO issues with the first two. I run my first one co-witness on my AR15 and I have popped steel with it out to 300yds, run and gun during dynamic training and shredded paper with it now for about 4 years. The second one I run co-witness using a QD mount on top of my Vector and it has kept me on target since day one. As I said, I just purchased a third one to run on another AR15, this one will also have a Vortex VMX3T magnifier in line. Simple, straight forward, great battery life, rugged and flip caps included, I'm sold. I highly recommend the Sparc II red dot and several shooting buddies have benefited from that recommendation.

I've had this on my Rec7 for awhile now and I love it. It's a fantastic optic with great sight picture. For $259 you can't get a better red dot. Glass is clear, dot is bright when you want it and dim when you need it. Why spend all that money on an Aimpoint when this will do just as good?!

I picked up a SPARC II about a year ago for my WASR 10 and I love how well it works. Mounted on the MI forearm it sits great on the rifle and has been flawless.

I was looking for a 2moa or better red dot that wasn't going to set me back $500+ and the Sparc II was just the ticket. It's compact, durable and easy to use. Battery life is long. After 3 years of use I'm still on the original. Dot is clean from the faintest setting to the brightest. Mine has seen rain, dropped several times and still functions as it should and held zero. On the bright settings the dot kind of overpowers your view but I just don't crank it up. For around $200 you can get a really well made 2 moa sight. No brainier.

Been using for over a year now, great quality. Only problem I have are the flip caps, they get loose and now they pretty much fall off anytime I touch them. Other then that very happy with it!

I see no reason to spend more, has everything you could possibly need in a red dot optic. Fantastic clarity, battery life, look, and warranty. My only con is the chunky riser mount, but atleast it is built like a tank

With no past experience with any vortex products I decided to spend a little more on a quality red dot. I'm a firm believer in the saying you get what you pay for and this couldn't be more true. I've has this sight for almost a year now and it has exceeding my expectations. With their life time warranty on products, you really can not go wrong. Vortex optics has gained me as a lifetime customer. Excited to try out some more sights in the future, keep up the good work!
