I just got my hands on the Vortex UH-1Razor I have been wanting it for over a year now. I did buy it off another person but it has never been shot on. It's only 3 months old not a scratch in it. But man was I disappointed when I turned it on. I was expecting being virtex the red semi circle was about as blurry as a drunk sailor can see. I expected the holographic sight to be nice solid crisp red line, instead mine is blurry as hell no ckairsty to it whatsoever like some one pulled the story out from under me. I had such high expectations for the holographic sight. To me I wasted 449.00 bucks, all my guns have. Irreconcilable on them I love vortex. I expected the red sight to look just like the picture ls ive seen of the sight. I'm hoping something is wrong with it, I ensured vortex waiting i. Then to respond hopefully they hv a repair shop and can fix it my son in law has a Trijion red dot scope on his AR, the red hologram sight is just beautiful solid red line, crisp, just like someone painted it on there. That's what I expected on my Razor. This is going to bug the bell outta me till I get ahold of vortex if it's broke I will redo this reciew

I was in the market for a holographic that I could throw a magnifier on for a light weight 308 trail gun I bought. This was just the optic I was looking for. The only gripe I have with my Gen1 is that it eats budget batteries for breakfast.

I had this optic for about a year with no complaint. However at the range today the optic started to shut off when it is under recoil (m855 ammo). Not sure what is happening. I am had I have back up iron otherwise it would of been a crappy range trip.

This is my second Razor AMG UH-1 and they both have had the same problem losing zero. Where the optic is mounted to the mount itself (not the rifle is loose and causes about 10 inch drift in zero. Very unsatisfied will be sending this one back as well.

I have 4 scopes, 2 Binoculars and a rangefinder from Vortex and they have all been great. You can imagine my incredible disappointment when I bought the AMG UH-1!! The reticle is NOT as they advertise it! It is pixilated and very uneven! It looks like something my children would make in Minecraft!! The triangle is a blob, and the outer halo is uneven. When I called Vortex, they told me “that’s the way it is”. My friends EOTech, Holosun, Aimpoint and Leupold sights all have better reticles than this! I can’t believe they sell this thing for $650.00! If you like to shoot through a reticle that looks like it was made for the original Mario Bros, then this sight is for you!!

I bought this sight for my IWI Tavor TS12 shotgun. It mounted real easily on the rail and it is slick. Get tons of compliments! I read other reviews and the mount isn't loose. For me, this sight was accurate out of the box. Thank you for a awesome product!

I bought this optic around Christmas and sighted it in at a 36 yard battle zero and I had to make only 2 zeroing adjustments then it was on. The reticle is very helpful for any type of close shooting and also some slightly longer range. Overall it’s a substantial quality optic and I’d recommend it to anyone who is in the market for a holographic scope.

i bought the sight and installed it on my ar and had it looked extremly blurry on all power settings and had 3 other people look through the sight and see what they thought and it was the same observation, im not sure if its a quality control issue or just the sight projection is out of focus but i dont see any way to adjust that. id appreciate any suggestions or tips

Love the Huey! Put it in my wife's PCC and she loves it too. Got 6 different pieces of glass and can't wait until I get the Razor Gen III. Great products, great people, and Wisconsin based on top of it. All that had me "Vortex for Life!"

However after using the UH-1 I don't know if I want to go back. The field of view for this optic is amazing. The red dots do not feel the same anymore and I miss the openness of the field of view that the UH-1 has. I recommend the UH-1 for anyone running a carbine. I can't wait to use it in a match next year.

Generally - cool stuff, but my Razor AMG UH-1 unit has three issues: 1) there is some dirt insight 2) left side has a blind spot 3) the red marker is out of focus - not adjustable

I really like the features and construction. The best part to me is the minimal viewing obstruction surrounding the window. Only complaint I can think of is the reticle appears slightly less crisp than the EOTech I have. Considering there isn't many holographic sights on the market, it is nice to see a high quality alternative to the EOTech.

Never in my life have I mounted an optic and felt so comfortable, so fast as I did with the Razor AMG UH-1. The integrated AMG mounting system is brilliant. I wear corrective lenses and was a little concerned that the reticle wouldn't be as clear and easy to pick up as a traditional red dot optic...that was not the case. Leaving both eyes open made for super fast target acquisition and lightning fast follow up shots. Considering the features, integrated mounting system and second to none sight picture, the UH-1 is an extremely good value for the money.

Installed on my AR pistol for home defense and recreational shooting. I love the glass and sight picture. Extremely easy to quickly acquire the reticle. The only thing I don’t love is the slight grainy look of the reticle.

I got a UH-1 from local agent three month ago. The main advantages of UH-1 are easy to install, easy to adjustment, and having good glass and reticle. I also did some comparison with EXPS3, and found UH-1 is undoubtedly a comparative product (Both they have their pros and cons). The thing made me most impressive is that UH-1's parallax performance is better than EXPS3! The only thing I feel bad is it does not support NV mode. Finally, I would recommend this product.

I bought this a while back and put it on my 300 Blackout for Pig hunting in Texas. Man am I glad I did. This sight is by far the best holographic sight I have ever used. I consider this far superior to Eotech and Aimpoint. Being in Law Enforcement I have used them all. The clarity is amazing. Picking up the sight on the move is effortless. I could not be happier with this sight. Bouncing around on a jeep in the hill country I put this thing through it paces. I will definitely be getting another one soon.

I've had my UH-1 for over a year now. Use it several times a month on many different rifles, from a .22 rifle all the way up to a .308 SCAR 17. I've never had to change the battery and it has never lost zero. This thing is built like a tank and have highly recommended it to several friends. Work really well with my astigmatism as well.

Looks great on a DDM4V7. One downside is no NV feature if you want to use NVGs and aim down sight, if you care for that. Only other negative is that the glass is not quite as clear as Eotech's glass. However, the sight picture is better (less material blocking due to the single integrated shroud), the reticle is better (CQB triangle works great), integrated charger is a cool feature (even though I don't use it), no forward signature, and it has a great warranty. This is my new go-to instead of Eotech.

I did alot of research before I purchased this optic for platform I was going to mount it to. Right out of the box you can tell this optic was built for long days on the range, or down range. It's a little heavy but nothing that you cant handle all day either, the glass quality is amazing. The buttons function awesome, tactile so you know you made a adjustment. The reticle is great for quick acquisition, I love the way it's set up makes for easy shooting at different rnages. The QD mount is awesome makes switching platforms really easy and holds its zero remarkably well. Deffinetly a great optic would recommend do anyone.
