Now, content creators have the option to lighten their load and use their smartphones and tablets as a portable HD monitor. The new CineEye from Accsoon acts as a wireless video transmitter and can send a signal from your camera to up to two devices in high definition. Producers, crew members, and clients can get a clear view of the shot with their own device.

Like professional film monitors, users of the CineEye Air will also be able to view essential information on their smartphone or tablet including focus peaking, waveforms, zebra, false colors, and LUTs. Reliable connectivity:

The CineEye Air functions as a wireless transmitter, which means a strong, stable connection is key. The transmitter keeps the average latency under 50ms, making lag nearly undetectable.

The CineEye Air is also highly resistant to outside interference, and automatically modifies and selects channels that have the least resistance. The transmitter also alters the bitrate and video quality of the outgoing signal in order to maximize connection and frame rate to make sure you are always able to monitor what is happening. The unit will also adjust the video’s quality and bitrate to ensure a constant, visible stream. Additionally, the wireless transmitter will choose and stick to channels that are mostly open and free from interference.

While on set, or shooting in general, mobility is important. The CineAir Air keeps creators mobile with a signal reaching up to 100 meters away. The wireless transmitter weighs a mere quarter of a pound, making it easy to carry and can be comfortably attached to a camera rig or gimbal.
