This morning’s announcement from Canon brings highly-anticipated cameras, lenses, and more to the mirrorless family. Not only did the camera manufacturer reveal the EOS R5 and R6 cameras, but also launched four new lenses, two extenders, a printer, and a whole host of accessories to round out your imaging needs.

The new Canon EOS R5 camera packs in 8K footage, 20 fps shooting, and a 45MP sensor. That’s not all. The wildlife, landscape, wedding, journalism, or cinematography camera also has a Dual Pixel CMOS AF system with 1,053 automatic autofocus zones, advanced subject tracking, and dual-card slots.

The Canon EOS R6 is equipped with a 20MP sensor, can produce 4K video up to 60 frames per second, and has head and eye detection for proper and quick subject tracking. Photographers and videographers across genres will appreciate the high-speed performance of the EOS R6, and its continuous shooting up to 20 frames per second, as well as animal and human subject tracking.

Wildlife, sports, and even aerial photographers will appreciate the power in the Canon RF100-500mm F4.5-7.1 L IS USM lens. The super telephoto lens has up to five stops of shake correction, includes three different image stabilization modes, and includes the Dual Nano USM focus motors for fast and sharp autofocus.

Whether it’s street or portrait photography or capturing macro shots, the Canon RF85mm F2 Macro IS STM is a prime lens equipped to handle the biggest (or smallest) moments. With a f/2 maximum aperture, the 85mm lens produces beautiful bokeh, and paired with an EOS R camera, is ideal for low-light shoots.

Canon’s release of the very first very first compact and lightweight 600mm super telephoto lens for the RF lineup is an ideal addition for bird, wildlife, outdoor sports, and aviation photographers. Weighing in at only 33 ounces and containing gapless double-layer Diffractive Optics (DO) plus optical image stabilization and a screw-type STM focus motor means the Canon RF600mm F11 IS STM lens is great for capturing quick subjects, quietly.

Just as the 600mm lens, the the RF800mm F11 IS STM lens is a welcome addition for birding and wildlife photographers, and is also the first 800mm is the first to join the Canon RF lineup. Canon has added in a lead screw-type STM, built-in IS, and is compatible with the RF Extender 1.4x and RF Extender 2x below for even more reach.

Get even closer to the subject you’re tracking. The Canon Extender RF1.4x attaches to select RF lenses and boosts your focal length by a factor of 1.4.
