Love these earbuds. Sound quality is excellent. These are also so comfortable, can't even tell you have these on. Much needed replacement for the earbuds that I was using that wouldn't stay in my ears.

I loveeee my ultra buds. So easy to use. I have never been able to wear ear buds because my ears are so little. Con.. I can't really talk on the phone. My voice isn't alway clear to the recipient.

I debated on purchasing these for almost a year because they were way more than I would normally spend and I didn't know if I would love them. When I saw that Bose offers returns if you don't love the product when you order directly through them AND they were $100 off, I decided to give them a chance; I'm so glad I did! Regular earbuds hurt my ears and leave me feeling overstimulated. The Bose Ultra Open Earbuds do not hurt, have great sound, and do not cause overstimulation. I love that I can hear my surroundings. The only downside is that phone calls are not great. I can hear the people I'm talking to, but they struggle to hear me. I use to max out in about an hour with earbuds, but with these, I can wear them all day.

I've had these for a few weeks now. These things are amazing. Working on the Ranch, in the barn, running etc these things stay put. They are plenty loud enough, but you can also turn them down and carry on a conversation.

I have a slight obsession with headphones and earbuds, even more so since I switched to bone conduction for running. These aren't that, but they are amazing! Obviously they don't block noise, and they're not supposed to so a lot noise will result in an inability to hear your music/podcast/whatever. Traditional earbuds leave my ears feeling dirty because I generally am listening to something for most of the day (audiobooks, music, or Podcasts at any given time). These don't leave you Googling "how many hours is safe to wear noise cancelling earbuds?" Or "am I pushing earwax further into my ear with my earbuds?" But they are very comfortable (I forget they're there), surprisingly secure, and the sound quality, assuming you're in a reasonable area, is great! Expensive but worth the splurge.

Bought these on sale, I was a bit skeptical at first since they are open ear buds and these will be my first time owning a pair. I was not disappointed at all. Love the fact that I'm able to enjoy these earbuds at work. I do work in an environment where I have to constantly keep checking on my radio for any call outs. I'm able to enjoy my music while being able to hear around my environment. Only issue is the longevity of the ear buds themselves they last about 6 hrs. I do work 12hr shifts. Overall I do recommend these earbuds if you want to enjoy your music while being aware of your surroundings

My Wife bought these after her first pair in white got stolen, so it shows that Bose does have a winner here! My wife loves her new purple version and loves the sound quality and the fact she can hear others trying to talk to her while wearing these. They are comfortable as well.

I felt like I was taking a chance when I bought these, and I am so glad I did! My first concern was my conch piercings. I wear hoops in them, and I was afraid they would get in the way, but they did not! Both open earbuds fit as they need to with no discomfort. On to the actual sound: wow! I am amazed they pack such a punch. I know the Bose brand is high quality, but with a unique open earbud like this, I was apprehensive. It was baseless. They sound incredible. I absolutely love that I can listen to my music at work, but still communicate with coworkers. I can play Pokemon Go with the sound on outside with friends, but not subject all of them to my phone volume. I absolutely love them.

For those of us that have problems with typical earbuds staying in ears, these are fantastic. They stay inplace and never feel like they are falling out. Sound quality is excellent, and you can also hear what is going on around you.

I bought this set 2 1/2 weeks ago. I'm very disappointed. They don't sound anything like the first set. I have from bowls. I'm definitely sending these back to get the second generation. I bought the first generation which I thought was awesome but this set doesn't compare to the quality sound That I'm getting from the first generation so I'm trading them in for the second generation. It has no base to it no sound I'm disappointed.

If u need to hear what's happening around u, or be able to speak to people while listening to music these r the best better than any other earbud "ambient" setting. They r not as loud as some other buds tho if u need to hear what's happening around u these r the best. The battery life isnt as good as some others especially if u have the immersion mode turned on. All and all they r good if u just want buds not in ur ear canal, but great if u need to be able to hear ur surroundings and still hear some music or an audio book. "The dirt" good book, good movie!

This is my fourth purchase of the Bose Carbon Blue because I don't ever want to be without them. Probably my 12th purchase overall of the Utras. They are the perfect combination of sound, awareness, comfort and COLOR. I have been diligently looking for a worthy replacement to my Backbeats from Plantronics as I have exclusively been a fan of open ear devices for workouts and while I'm out and about. Although not good for airplanes, I will, once again, make my pitch that Bose make the QC ULTRA Gen 2's in CARBON BLUE! Please, ya gotta do it.

I have been looking for earbuds that do not go into my ear. After having an allergic reaction to apples, EarPods, it has been very difficult. I got one pair of these and loved them so I bought another pair! They are fantastic and the only thing that can be improved is by being able to also handle phone calls from them.

Used these on my recent roadtrip and they are fabulous. Had a bit of trouble with it staying connected to my iPad but after a couple of times "retrying" had no issues after that. Bought the black with gold which is stunning. Bought two additional pairs as X-mas gifts. Still have and use my over the ear headphones in the car (not driving) to cut the road noise. Also have a portable speaker received as a gift. Your products are reliable, sound great, and used quite often.

I really like the Bose Ultra Open earbuds. They allow me to enjoy my music and still hear what's going on around me. I was so excited when I heard how great the music sounds despite the fact they are open. I also appreciate that I can use both or just one. I'm still trying to find that sweet balance between music and phone calls. Even though my music is ?? while listening, when taking a call the volume seems a bit low, so I feel I constantly have to adjust. Otherwise, for me, it's the perfect earbud. These earbuds possess that true bose quality by delivering great performance.

as someone who has never been able to wear earbuds without them falling out of my ear.. these are awesome! 4 stars because the call quality isnt great & the design could be better as far as placement of the speaker. otherwise the sound while playing music is very good. these earbuds are so comfortable i sometimes forget I have them in. you can hear the music and everything around you which is great for busy city streets. if bose ever makes these with noise cancelling or a way to adjust the length for better fit.. i will buy the updated versions. highly recommend for people that can't wear regular earbuds.. do not recommend for people that make frequent calls or need them to communicate for work video chats.

I'm giving Bose 1 star not the product the customer service im sure the ultra open earbuds are great but I purchased them and never received said earbuds when I contacted Bose about this 15 mins after I received delivery notification I was brushed off for over a week then it was under investigation now three weeks later no answers still no response from customer service no proof of delivery nothing and i was robbed twice payed for a alleged delivery of open earbuds and now receiving them

Most ear buds do not fit snugly into my ear canal. I have been a long-time happy user of Bose over the ear, noise cancellation headphone so I decided to give these a try. They clip onto my ears securely but sometimes I forget they are there. The sound is great.
