Constructed with an OM1 Orange 62.5 Micron Multimode Tactical Fiber, this reel is both rugged and lightweight. The internal aramid strength members provide exceptional crush resistance, making it ideal for high-traffic areas. Its polyurethane outer sheath is designed to withstand the weight of military tanks and Outside Broadcast vehicles, ensuring its durability and longevity.
Our fiber optic tactical reel features a compact, round cable design for easy transportation and deployment. Its helically stranded cable core offers flexibility and deployment survivability, providing optimal mechanical protection for the optical fibers. This product is suitable for use in adverse environments where reduced size and weight are crucial.
Tested and used in military data communications applications worldwide, this reel can be deployed directly on the ground in all terrains, including severe environments. It's chemical-resistant, making it suitable for outside broadcast, industrial, mining, and petrochemical environments.
The reel's fanouts are color-coded with Orange Techflex for added protection, and the cable features a rugged tight-buffered design for commercial, broadcast, and military applications. This product meets and exceeds MIL-PRF-85045 specifications, ensuring its reliability and performance.
Note: The Camplex Tactical Fiber Snake Reel includes broadcast fiber optic cable reels with a connector protection cavity and a hinged latching door. Each reel has been carefully selected to ensure proper support and the critical bend radius required by fiber optic cables. For optimal storage, we recommend that tactical fiber optic cables over 25 feet be stored on a cable reel. Custom lengths and configurations are always available to meet your specific needs.
