Sturdy stand
Sturdy for Nikon D850 with grip and 200-500 f/5.6 lens. You just have to keep you hand on the gear if windy. Add 2 lbs quick release to the tripod. Next runner up is fairly heavy if you have to walk steep uphill or 50 steps or something with full long lens and camera gear on the backpack.

The best, strong and light.
This is the best tripod, strong and light, perfect for my trips and my walks in the mountains, it is very easy to transport together with the Gitzo GH3382QD Series 3 central ball head This is my second Gitzo tripod. I come from Manfrotto and I don't think I will return!!!

After extensive research and development, the Gitzo GT3532 Mountaineer Series 3 Carbon Fiber Tripod emerges as a top-tier choice for professional photographers and videographers. Constructed with Carbon Exact tubing, the GT3532 incorporates High Modulus carbon fiber in the lower leg sections. This innovative design not only increases the diameter of the legs but also enhances the tripod's rigidity, making it stronger and more stable than its predecessor.
The GT3532 boasts a substantial load capacity of 55.1 lbs and can extend to a maximum height of 63.39", providing versatility for a range of shooting scenarios. For easy transportation, it conveniently folds down to a compact size of 25.2".
One of the standout features of this tripod is its removable center column, which facilitates Ground Level Set. This feature allows the tripod to reach its lowest height of 6.3", enabling photographers to capture stunning low-angle shots.
The three-section legs of the GT3532 are secured with twist locks that incorporate G-lock Ultra. This advanced mechanism features an internal O-ring that prevents dust and particles from entering the leg system, ensuring the longevity of the tripod.
