This 3-section tripod is specifically designed to support professional cameras with 300mm lenses, extending up to a maximum of 400mm. Constructed with Carbon Exact tubing, the GT3532 incorporates High Modulus carbon fiber in the lower leg sections. This innovative design not only increases the diameter of the legs but also enhances the tripod's rigidity, making it stronger and more stable than its predecessor. The GT3532 boasts a substantial load capacity of 55.1 lbs and can extend to a maximum height of 63.39", providing versatility for a range of shooting scenarios. For easy transportation, it conveniently folds down to a compact size of 25.2". One of the standout features of this tripod is its removable center column, which facilitates Ground Level Set. Sturdy for Nikon D850 with grip and 200-500 f/5.6 lens. You just have to keep you hand on the gear if windy. Add 2 lbs quick release to the tripod.
Next runner up is fairly heavy if you have to walk steep uphill or 50 steps or something with full long lens and camera gear on the backpack.
