Seems to be of good quality for the money. I have used it once as I just got it but what I used it for was to photograph Football players posed with flash in bright sun and it enabled me to lower my sync speed to 1/200 at F4. Camera (Nikon d750 with 70-200 2.8 lens) had no problem auto focusing. In post production no change in sharpness or color.

I found this four-stop ND filter to work extremely well. Highly recommended for more sophisticated landscape shots with moving water and other applications where motion or bright light is to be manipulated.

Wasn?t aware of brand recognition at first but I must say this is a GREAT tool Esp combing a circular polorizer on a drone. This size fits the x5-x5r-X5s. I have it on the latter but they are all the same Lumix I mean DJI 15mm stock lens. I love it. Clean. Neat. And makes shooting in the brightest of day a breeze.

Wow, I love filter! My camera shutter speed is maxed out at 4,000 and this filter not only gives me high quality images with no distortion or weird colors but it also brings down my shutter speed from 4,000 to around 320 @ 4.0 in the middle of the afternoon on a very bright day with no exposure compensation.

This is a decent filter for the price. Does a good job of reducing light to allow a slower shutter speed for blurred movement.

This filter is clean and pretty close to neutral. Doesn't dampen image quality and makes it possible to photograph or shot video in bright conditions with a good aperture.

Hoya is among the best of the best for filters. This ND filter can be used to reduce light and change your exposure when using fast films such as ISO 200 or 400 in bright outdoor lighting conditions.
Terrific filter

Terrific filter for controlling outside light. Great for not completely overexposing backgrounds while getting exposure correct on your subject.
Just as a painter carefully selects their brushes, a photographer must choose the right filter to achieve the perfect shot. The 58mm 8X (0.9) Neutral Density Multi Coated Glass Filter is a high-quality, durable accessory designed to enhance your photography by effectively managing light. This filter is particularly versatile, allowing you to explore the realms of long exposure and landscape photography with confidence.
Crafted to evenly reduce the amount of light passing through the lens by three stops without affecting color, this neutral density filter is an essential tool for photographers aiming to capture images with a narrow depth of field in bright conditions. Whether you're looking to create a silky smooth appearance in flowing water or wish to convey the swift motion of a bustling city scene, this filter enables slower shutter speeds to blur movement with precision.
Moreover, the multi-coated design of this filter ensures that reflections, glare, and lens flare are minimized, thus enhancing image quality and contrast. This feature makes it a reliable choice for photographers who demand clarity and fidelity in their work. The filter's ability to balance exposure is also invaluable when highlighting a key subject amidst a brightly lit environment.
For those using higher speed films or digital sensors, this neutral density filter allows you to harness bright light without the risk of overexposure. User reviews attest to its effectiveness, with one photographer achieving phenomenal results shooting a local waterfall in broad daylight, and another finding it the perfect companion for long exposure shots.
In summary, the 58mm 8X (0.9) Neutral Density Multi Coated Glass Filter is an indispensable accessory for photographers seeking to control light with precision. Its effective, reliable, and versatile nature makes it a preferred choice for both budding and experienced photographers looking to push the boundaries of their creative expression.
