Just unveiled, the DSR4 4-Channel Digital Slot Receiver, A1B1: 470-614MHz, is a state-of-the-art device that delivers unparalleled RF and audio performance. This compact, feature-rich receiver is designed for both field and location production, making it a versatile tool for professional audio and video work.
The DSR4's user-friendly front panel, complete with tactile buttons and a color LCD interface, makes it an ideal choice for portable bag systems and sound carts. Its built-in RF spectrum analyzer and SmartTune technology work together to mitigate interference issues in an increasingly crowded RF spectrum.
The DSR4's mechanical design seamlessly integrates into the SuperSlot ecosystem. It boasts a range of field-proven features, developed from years of experience in motion picture and television production. The receiver houses four channels in one unit, reducing weight and powered by an external DC for convenience.
Equipped with an IR port, the DSR4 facilitates easy data transfer between units. Its machined aluminum housing and panels, surfaced with a hard anodized finish and laser-etched markings, are built to withstand the rigors of field production.
The receiver's RF gain stages employ a newly developed design, offering low noise RF amplification, excellent sensitivity, and minimal susceptibility to intermodulation and de-sensitization. The DSR4 also offers two diversity options for 4-channel and 2-channel operation, ensuring optimal signal strength and quality.
The DSR4 is compatible with D-Squared and Duet digital transmitters, including the DBu, DHu, DPr, DBSM, DCHT, and M2T. It also offers backward compatibility with any Digital Hybrid Wireless transmitters, including the SM and SMWB series, WM, HM Series, MM400 Series, HH Series, LT, LMb, UM400 Series, and SSM.
The DSR4's SmartNR feature, with a noise floor at -120 dBV and a frequency response to 20 kHz, effectively reduces high-frequency noise in the source audio. The SmartNR algorithm offers three modes for customizable noise reduction, ensuring crystal-clear audio output for any signal source of reasonable quality.
