Works Great right out of the box.
Works as advertised. I purchased a Sony Alpha camera that has it's own multi- hot shoe. I do portrait work, so I needed to have a regular hot shoe for flash transmitters. I put this on the camera and tested it right away. These units work first time, and every time.

small investment, great savings with accessory adapter.
This adapter allows me to use my excellent Minolta shoe mount flash with my new Sony camera. A small investment has saved the cost of a new flash.

I didn't realize that my old shoe adapter would not do what this can. Needed for my new flash on my A57 works good. I recommend it for older types of Alpha's. it also raises the flash just enough to get rid of most red eye.
