Love the i1 Display Pro, easy to use and setup and personally I find it far more accurate in color calibration than the spyder brand which through my colors way off (completely not matching from monitor to final print). I've always used Xrite brand, but when my old one stopped working after almost 9 years, I borrowed a Spyder brand from a friend to use while waiting on this new one to arrive. And wow, I couldn't believe the difference! X Rite is way more accurate in tones and saturation where the spyder threw me off big time, causing me to have to re-edit all my images and waisted tons of test printing! I didn't realize my friend only prints in black & white, so I suppose color and saturation doesn't matter for him as much as it matters to me. If color accuracy from start to final printed output matters to you, hands down X-Rite's brand i1 Display pro works great!

The xritei1 worked made a visible difference on my LG CX utilizing calman software very easy to use after reading related post. Adorama was very quick and easy to purchase from package arrived in pristine condition I would recommend again.

I got this as a replacement for a previous unit i had that broke by accident, I used to love it and I love this one. Great tool for color management, small, accurate and reliable... plus the software is easy to use. If you are a first timer on Color Management, you can check out all the info and tutorials X-Rite put up on YouTube

Best color accuracy I’ve had in a long time. The settings and advanced calibration process can be a little confusing if you’re not a color expert, but luckily the manufacturer provides helpful videos that got me up and running pretty quickly.

I eventually, after many hours of calibrating and re-calibrating, managed to achieve satisfactory - though not perfect - results with this. That being said, there are still some subtle visual discrepancies between my two displays. I eventually discovered that for the most accurate results I have to use two pieces of software, the Dell UltraSharp Calibration Solution as well as the supplied i1 Profiler. The Dell software is used to calibrate Dell UltraSharp displays and i1 Profiler is used for other display manufacturers. This isn’t made very clear at all and would have saved me several hours had I known.

It was supposed to be simple but it has been very complicated trying to get it to work. Instructions that are included are almost useless. Had to google YouTube to try to get it to work and even now it has not accomplished what I had hoped. Maybe if you are a computer expert this will be fine but in my case i just wanted to print the same color as on the screen and that is still not happening.

I bought this to ensure my prints would come back from the printer the way I envisioned them. Having a well calibrated monitor also helps me know my colors are right in all my videos and my photography.

Included hardware and software work great. However I am now using this with LG True Color Pro software to calibrate a LG 32UL950 monitor This software saves the calibration LUT to the monitor hardware. Very satisfied with the purchase.

My dell XPS 15 was extremely over contrasty and over saturated, which hindered my ability to color grade and edit photos. But this product completely solved my issue and now my screen is way more color accurate which saved me thousands in needing to buy a new laptop or color accurate monitor.

It is perfect tool if you know how to use it. You should understand what is going on, so firstly you should read the articles and watch videos on youtube. Simple mode will not give you the best result so you should use advanced mode with manual settings.

I finally got to the point where I am going to make more prints of my photos and the print shop I work with kept recommending that I keep my monitors calibrated. After reading many reviews I decided on the i1Display Pro. It is very easy to use, works great, and made a noticeable difference in how I edit my photos. I would recommend this product to anyone who is going to be printing their photos and wants to make sure their displays are set up accurately. The software is easy to follow step by step and I like how it measures the ambient brightness in your room to help with the calibration. I realize now my monitors were all set too blue and too dark for where I work and that was throwing off my prints.

I have been a user of color correction tools for the past 10 years and I swear by them. When I upgraded to Windows 10 (64 bit) this February I found that the previous tool, the Eye-One, Display 2 (also from X-Rite) software and hardware did not do the job any longer. The time had come to look for new tools. I checked with X-Rite and they had several different versions, The unfortunate part was that all of these tools "sounded" like they could do the job. The two that sounded the most promising were $160 and $260, enough of a difference to look a little deeper. I ordered the $160 set up and then called a friend. He did not call back right a way, but two days later he did call and his answers were quite revealing. The $160 tool, also made by X-Rite, is consistently "warmer" and since I am a finneky printer I need a color correction tool that is totally neutral. I have spent a lot of money on color monitors, color cards and the right software to get perfect prints. Adorama had already shipped the less expensive version and agreed to take it back for a full refund and I ordered the new X-Rite Calibrator. It came two days later. The software installation was flawless and my first calibration session was a textbook success. I produced my first print and it was nearly perfect. The printer and the monitor produced the same tones and the same values. That's what color calibration software is supposed to do and I am absolutely delighted with this. It's the best $ I have spent in a long time.

All 3 monitors are different makes and models so it was difficult to maintain an even slightly even look among the monitors, plus different motherboards and video cards made things even worst. i1 Display Pro removes any adjustments you have made in the computer and creates a profile using only the Monitors available settings and the color profile it creates so you get extremely constant color between monitors. Note: colors will appear correct depending on viewing angle of the monitor. IPS monitors will generally have a greater viewing angle that TN monitors. When comparing monitors it is best to look at them straight on, especially if using different makes and models. All my 3 monitors look almost identical, any difference is barely notable and due to different brightness and contrast capabilities also different LED and LCD technologies have slightly different spectral properties, so true color matching among different technologies is almost impossible, but you can get a highly similar /almost identical match among them with i1 Display Pro.

I have the ColorMunki Display already and decided that I needed the next step up. This is a fantastic product granted I don’t have any experience with any of its competitors. I can tell you it is a night and day difference between the two models. If you really want to dig deep and get amazingly accurate colors, then this is what you should spring for.

I've just purchased a new MacBook Pro and needed to calibrate the color as much as possible. I would have preferred a high end monitor but that's not a viable option for me. The i1 Display Pro has done a great job calibrating the laptop display; the colors I'm seeing on screen are matching my prints very closely. The only problem is that I've had some difficulties with the software freezing and have had to uninstall and reinstall a couple of times; I hope this is just an initial problem.

When I upgraded my Photoshop computer from an XP to a Windows 10, and bought a new Benq monitor, much of the old software and hardware didn't work. I had a Huey colorimeter (the kind with suction cups), but the Benq wanted an i1 (or one of several other colorimeters, mostly more expensive than the i1). My Monaco EZ Color software did not recognize the Huey either. The i1 works well with the Benq, and I calibrated the monitor with no problem. However, if you have the Monaco software, be aware that, although it says it works with an i1, it does not recognize this device. It's old software, and it probably does recognize the earlier version of the i1 (at least, it claims to), but not this version. It does not use suction cups to attach to the screen (they're not recommended for LCD monitors) - it simply rests on it. All in all, it's a nice colorimeter, and the price is reasonable.

The Xrite i1Pro calibrator arrived from Adorama as schedule. Installation was very simple. I am using OS Sierra and OS X 10.6 Mac operating systems. Calibration was very easy. I have two 27" iMacks with two different operating Software and my monitors can't be tell apart. The both looking very good. I am graphic designer for Print Industry and I have to have color accurate monitors. Highly recommended! Kris

This tool is a must for anyone who takes photography seriously. If you think other similar tools might suffice, I recommend reading "The Basics of Monitor Calibration" on photographylife.com. If you have spent top dollar on glass, for the cost of a cheap lens you will squeeze more out of any fancy lens.
