Trivial to install and use, with great results. A bit pricy, but you get what you pay for. Exactly what I was looking for.

The easiest “plug and play” capture divide we’ve ever found. Works every time.

This Capture Card was plug and play. We used this on a 4K HDMI professional camera and the card turned it into the webcam we needed for live streaming Facebook.

Works great to get image from Fujifilm X-T3 of X-E3 to computer via Adobe Premiere Pro Capture. Device is plug and play. Software does allow tuning it (mirror image in my case since somewhere L-R become R-L). I use it to capture camera feed for university lectures and teleconference during COVID.. The device itself does get warm and I keep it above desk with wire note pad rack to increase air flow.

Trying to find the right capture device for use with the YoloBox live stream unit was frustrating. But the Magewell plug and play was just what I needed. Also works great on my PC as a web cam.

Before I purchased, I looked at YouTube videos on how to turn your DSLR into your webcam. Everyone suggested this product was the easiest to use since it is truly a "plug and play" device. I have a Mac so I plugged it by USB to my computer and used an HDMI cable to my Nikon D610 camera. It worked just as advertised. Excellent quality. Now I can record on Quicktime and post it on social media effortlessly. Also good for Zoom and FaceTime calls.

Bulletproof.
For your HDMI recording and streaming needs, this dongle has you covered with resolutions up to 1920 x 1200 at 60p, auto and manual up- or down-scaling, frame rate conversion, and de-interlacing in real time with its own hardware, for a process that's light on your CPU and heavy on functionality.
This unit uses the drivers your computer already has, requiring no additional installs or downloads, meaning it will work with any software that you're already working with. And in the event that you don't have a USB 3.0 port available, which this device is optimized to use, a USB 2.0 port will do the trick, even if that does mean some restrictions in resolution and frame rate due to bandwidth limits.
If you run into trouble, the device has an excellent one-click troubleshooting system to capture all the relevent info for tech support, making it easier than ever to get things up and running once again.
